結婚3周年をお祝いした日🥂Amazon ブラックフライデーで買いたいもの

Starting this easygoing day off by lighting some incense. I’m finally using the incense holder I bought on my trip to Korea 🤭 Its indescribable little expression is so cute 🤭 My hands have been getting so dry that I can’t live without hand cream and lip balm. Especially after doing chores around the sink, my hands get frighteningly rough. It’s a bit of a hassle having to reapply cream every time I wash my hands… I wonder if there’s any good solution for this…😂 Lately I’ve been slacking on my 10-year diary. It’s only a few lines a day, but sometimes I just can’t write. Since the words aren’t coming, I’ll make myself some coffee for a change of pace ☕️ Recently I’ve been trying to buy organic coffee beans whenever possible. I also restarted using Seikatsu Club that I used back when I lived alone. It’s a bit pricey, but you can’t put a price on health, and the meat is unbelievably good, so I really like it. My parents raised me with such care for my health, and I want to honor that. 🫶 After making coffee, I give the espresso machine a quick clean. I never skip this because I want to keep using it beautifully for a long time. For lunch today, I’m taking it easy with some frozen meal prep I had in the freezer. While I’m at it, I’ll take care of my yeast starter too. So far it’s going well 🤭 I can’t wait to bake a bold, rustic hard bread 🥖 I’m back at my desk again. Alright, maybe I can finally write now. Even looking back at last year’s entries, there are blank spots here and there. When I can’t write, it’s often a sign that my mental state isn’t great. The ink ran out 😣 Refilling my fountain pen ink is second nature to me now 😏 Now the words are finally starting to flow ✍️ I love the sound of the nib scratching against the paper. A stone I got in Bali. My little power spot 💎 Today we’re celebrating our wedding anniversary 🥂 For dinner, I’ve booked the sushi restaurant where we celebrated our first anniversary too. It’s been 3 years since we got married and 5 years since we met. It feels like we just got married, and yet it’s already been 3 years—time flies 🤯 Since it’s our anniversary, I’m going to switch my nails to a cute pink tone 🤭 Around this time of year, Christmas and year-end sales make me loosen the purse strings a bit too much 😂 Amazon Black Friday, which I look forward to every year, is finally about to start! When this sale starts, it really hits me that the year is almost over. This year’s Amazon Black Friday runs for 8 days, from Monday, November 24 at 0:00 to Monday, December 1 at 23:59. It’s the last big sale of the year! (So exciting ☺️) Once-a-year big event, with unbelievably good deals every time! I always use this chance to stock up on essentials and cleaning supplies for the big year-end clean. This year’s theme is “Everything you want, all at a great price.” From everyday necessities that make life easier, to special items you only splurge on during sales, to treats for yourself after a year of hard work and gifts for loved ones—there’s so much to choose from. Every year around this time I make a wishlist and eagerly wait for things to go on sale 🤭 Plus this year there are tons of extra deals like point-up campaigns, stamp rallies, and d-point stamp rallies to make it even more rewarding! I have a feeling this year’s Amazon Black Friday is going to be really hot…! I shop on Amazon all the time, and it’s especially a lifesaver when I’m busy. I trust it completely. First up, the everyday products I always use. Soy milk and rice are heavy to carry from the supermarket, so I often order them on Amazon. Rice has gotten expensive with rising prices lately, but stocking up during this sale really helps the household budget. Dishwasher detergent, plastic wrap that’s cheaper in bulk—non-perishables like these are best bought in big batches now. We’re almost out of fabric softener, so I’ve added IROKA, which I’ve been curious about, to my wishlist. For the year-end deep clean, I’m eyeing a mold-removing washing machine cleaner and toilet wipes. This year I’m going to scrub the washing machine and toilet thoroughly so we can welcome the new year feeling fresh! And, and… as a secret reward for working hard all year, I’ve got my eye on a Kindle too 🤭 There’s so much I want that my cart is already bursting…😂 What are you planning to buy during Amazon Black Friday? Oops 🥸 Having frozen meal prep on hand makes things so easy 😚 Thanks, past me 😚 To save room for dinner, we’re keeping the pasta light—180g for the two of us. I didn’t feel like washing a big pot, so I’m somehow trying to boil the pasta in a small one 😤 Get in there— Yes, it fit 😏 I just now realized I hadn’t put away the dishes from the dishwasher 🥲 It’s fine though, since I had time to kill while the pasta boils. It’s 🦥’s favorite, a meat sauce packed with ingredients. I absolutely do not want to get my hands dirty… So meaty and it smells amazing~ And some sweet potato potage too. I’ve made it so many times, but 🦥 reacts like it’s the first time every time, saying, “It’s so good!” Shave cheese stylishly on top and any dish transforms into restaurant-level 💃🏼 Dinner’s ready〜 Perfectly in sync 😅 I always serve a bit more pasta on 🦥’s plate, but while I’m adding sauce and prepping other dishes I lose track of which one had more 😂 It would be even better with Tabasco. I recently realized Tabasco actually has surprisingly few additives. It makes me happy to find out that something I enjoy often doesn’t have many additives ☺️ Now then, how should we spend the afternoon? It’s our anniversary, but it’s such a laid-back day. Not that we’re doing anything particularly special though. 🦥 unusually said he wanted tea, so we’re having tea time. The tea tin I got as a souvenir from India is so cute I always reach for it. Two books I had reserved at the library have arrived. Which one should I read first? I decided to start with Michi Ichiho’s novel “Koi toka Ai toka Yasashisa nara.” The afternoon of this day off flows by slowly, gently. I feel like I’ve been craving this kind of unhurried time for a while. It’s so easy to read that I keep turning the pages. A viewer once told me that they find emotions in novels that they can’t put into words themselves, and I thought that was so beautiful, and at the same time it really clicked for me. Maybe the reason reading a novel can make us feel fulfilled or somehow refreshed is because we’ve found those inexpressible feelings within its pages. To at least do something anniversary-like, I decided to polish our wedding rings. By the way, I’m often asked where our wedding rings are from—they’re from MIKIMOTO 💍 When we chose them, we decided we wanted a historic, made-in-Japan brand, so we went with that. They also have a polishing service at the store, so I’d like to have them properly cleaned there next time. After polishing with Pikal, I finish them off with a soft cloth. 🦥’s is easier to polish since it doesn’t have diamonds. Maybe they look a little cleaner now…? 😅 Every year on our anniversary I write a letter. What should I write about this year? I feel like for our first anniversary I wrote a lot of dreamy things, but now I’m much more realistic 😂 There’s nothing particularly romantic in it, but I always make sure to write my gratitude clearly. I wondered if I’d have enough to say, but I ended up filling two sheets of stationery. By the way, 🦥 never writes me letters back 😑😑 lol Let’s look in my sticker book for something to put on the letter. I chose this Coco-chan sticker because it somehow feels like it looks like us right now! Let’s stay close forever. I’ll give him the letter when we get back from dinner. Time to make a little anniversary treat. I’m making chestnut pies with frozen puff pastry, frozen almond cream, and some candied chestnuts I also had in the freezer. With frozen puff pastry, anything turns delicious. Making pie dough from scratch is just so much work… I’m eternally grateful to whoever invented frozen puff pastry. I roughly wrap the almond cream and chestnuts and shape them into little rounds. The oven’s preheated so I need to hurry 💦 I should really brush them with egg wash, but I don’t want to waste an egg today so I’ll skip it. Instead I just sprinkled a little sugar on top. The top might caramelize and turn extra tasty 😋 The almond cream oozing out a little looks so good. It’s about time to get changed and get ready to go out. I put together an outfit that’s a little more polished. With the bag and hat I bought in Korea. Today’s outfit is complete! On my feet, I’m wearing black flats from VIVAIA. These earrings were a present from 🦥 on my first birthday with him. I try to wear them on special days. The rings are from JewelVOX and one I bought in Korea. We’re stopping by a café I’ve been curious about first, so I’ll bring a book. I love this book pouch I made at Object in Korea. It keeps my library books safe when I carry them around. Alright then, we’re off! We’re driving to our destination. We’ve arrived at a café called “marble” in Kuramae. My hands are so dry it feels awful… No matter how many times I look at it, it’s just so cute… (Sorry for going on and on lol) We ordered a black sesame Basque cheesecake and an affogato. Such an artistic affogato. The black sesame Basque is moist and rich. The interior is totally my style too, it’s so relaxing. We’re supposed to have sushi later, but I just couldn’t resist 🥲 I did eat less pasta though, so maybe it’s fine 🙃 First time at Rinda in three years! Stripped fatty tuna Hamachi… I think…? Clear soup with abalone and wakame. Seared buri (is that a pun…?) My beloved squid Cod milt with ponzu jelly Nodoguro Female snow crab 🦀 There was rice packed inside 🥺 Ark shell clam Got the little finger-heart pose 🫰😂 What was this again…🫣 Drunken shrimp 🦐 My favorite toro-taku!
