A huge hot spring resort hotel nestled in the middle of nature. Press the subtitle or CC button to enjoy full subtitles. Hello everyone, this is Watatabi. This time, I’m staying at a resort hotel surrounded by nature, where I can enjoy hot springs and cuisine. This hot spring inn offers a variety of options, including bathing, kaiseki courses, and buffets. I’ll be spending two nights here and reviewing the location, the inn, and the price. I don’t usually have many opportunities to stay in hotels, so I’m looking forward to it. The hotel is located in Nasu Town, Nasu District, in the northeastern part of Tochigi Prefecture. I’m heading for Hotel Sun Valley Nasu, located on the slopes of the Nasu Highlands, with nine accommodation facilities on a vast site roughly the size of three Tokyo Domes. On the way, I spotted an interesting spot, so I decided to make a detour. We’re almost there. There are lots of shops. Turn left here. We’ve arrived . This is Izuruyama Manganji Temple. I actually wanted to go to Nikko or Ashio Copper Mine, but they seem to be extremely crowded with autumn leaves, so I decided to experience the Japanese atmosphere here. There were many restaurants and other establishments along the way, so I guess this is a popular place. There’s a very impressive building in front of the parking lot. It’s a very large building. There seems to be a cave hall and stalactites further back, so I came to see them. It looks like it has quite a long history, and the appearance is incredibly cool. On the other side of this building, there’s a very large bell. It’s quite large. It’s a very impressive bell. It seems to be used for ceremonies, so it’s not normally rung. This is the sutra offering office. It’s a truly impressive building, and this is the temple. This is the main hall. Is it under construction? There’s scaffolding set up. I went to pray. You can access the inner sanctuary from next to the main hall. An entrance fee of 300 yen is required, so it seems to be paid at this temple. I’ve paid the entrance fee. Now, I’m heading to the inner sanctuary. This is the path to the inner sanctuary. I wonder how long it will take? It shouldn’t be too far. I’d only walked about 50 meters, but from this point on, the place had a truly mystical atmosphere. It was a truly natural experience. I wonder if these lanterns glow at night? If they did, it would surely create a magical atmosphere. The surroundings were incredibly quiet, with only the chirping of birds to be heard. The building came into view. The path looked like this, athletic-like, and exciting. I don’t know how to read this… is it pronounced “nyorendo”? It’s a building with a very historic feel. It has an incredible atmosphere. It gave me goosebumps. It has a different vibe from a shrine. Let’s continue. The temperature was so low that my breath was coming out, but I was sweating as I climbed. It felt mystical, and a little scary. Up ahead, I saw another hall. This appears to be the graves of the head priests, and it’s clearly been there since the Edo period. Is it pronounced “nyonindo”? It seems women were not allowed here in the past. There was something very impressive attached to it, so I continued on. I saw a hut. Wow, what a huge stone monument. Is this a rest area? There’s a waterfall in front of this hut. Above the waterfall, Acala is enshrined. It ‘s next to this hut, but there’s a sign that says you can’t go any further without a guide. I think there’s probably a cave. Unfortunately, you can’t go any further. This is the route. The weather’s getting worse. Wow, this is pretty hard. We climbed some very steep stairs and went all the way to the top. There it is. This is it. Amazing… A magnificent building stands on top of a cliff like this. Normally, I’d walk faster just to see this building, but I can’t quite bring myself to do that. I’m right in front of it. However, the vegetation blocks the whole view of the building. Amazing… It really is on top of a cliff. I think it was built without using any nails. I wonder if it was rebuilt? The tree itself is quite beautiful. Below this is a sheer cliff like this. What is this place… The atmosphere is amazing. Are these stalactites? The lights came on. Wow, amazing… This is it. Amazing! It’s hard to convey from a video, but when you actually come here, you’re blown away by its sheer grandeur. It’s even more impressive than I imagined, and it gives you goosebumps. I imagine it must have taken tens of millions of years, or even over 100 million years, for it to grow to this size. People in the past often found places like this. They must have been amazed when they first saw it. Even those who aren’t interested in temples or caves will be awed by the sight. The area around the stalactites is covered in coins. This area is like a rice paddy made of stalactites. If you go deeper into the stalactites, you might find some Edo-period money. I don’t really understand what the writing says, so if you’re interested, pause and take a look. I don’t know what kind of blessings it offers, but I hope so. So, there were these incredible stalactites and a magnificent shrine on a cliff. I don’t think you’ll regret coming here. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get there from where you paid the entrance fee, so if you have the time, please visit. I truly recommend this place. I wonder how people in the past managed to build this building on this sheer cliff? It’s a mystery. Now, let’s head back to the parking lot. The return trip is a little scary. The stairs are quite steep, so if you can make it, please be careful not to slip. We’re back. The weather’s getting worse, but we’re heading to our lodging. Wow, amazing! There’s a rainbow. We make our way through the lush forest, gradually gaining altitude. Before we know it, we’re driving away from the city and into the great outdoors. Then, several huge buildings appear halfway up the Nasu Highlands. This is it. Turn left here. We’ve arrived, this is it. We’ve arrived. This is the hot spring hotel, Hotel Sun Valley Nasu. This huge hot spring resort offers nine different accommodations, hot springs, pools, and gourmet food, and can be enjoyed year-round. The facilities are scattered like this, and they’re all part of this hotel. It’s so large that it’s hard to know where to start, but I’ll check in to the facility where I’ll be staying tonight and then explore from there. I entered from this road and am now here, and this is the main building. It is currently under construction and will be reborn in the summer of 2026. Unfortunately, you cannot enter it at the moment. There is a road next to the main building, which is like the main street, with accommodation facilities lined up on both sides of the street. The site is really vast, about the size of three Tokyo Domes. It is really large, and the hot springs are located quite far away, but you can get around the facility by car. You can arrange a car at the reception of each facility, and a car will come to the front of the building and take you to wherever you want to go. I’ll be staying at the Queens Colina building. Let’s check in. The front desk looks like this as you enter. There’s a welcome drink right here, and to the right is the bakery. This is the welcome drink. It’s open from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. This is the bakery. The hotel bakery opened a year ago and offers a variety of homemade breads, including curry bread, sausage dogs, fruit Danishes, and fruit sandwiches. These breads are made from scratch and baked in a lava oven, resulting in a crispy exterior and a moist interior. They’re also available at the breakfast and dinner buffets. Next to the bakery is a restaurant called Aria Deli. It ‘s currently open as a cafe, and this is where the dinner venue is for guests ordering the Wa-kaiseki course. I’ve come up to the second floor, and this spiral staircase and open-air atrium are truly luxurious. It’s amazing. Below is the bakery. Yukatas are available here. You can choose your size and color. Amenities are also available here. Unfortunately, I can’t show them due to copyright restrictions, but there are several paintings hanging on the walls of the second floor, all of which were painted by John Lennon. John Lennon. I’ll be staying in this room on the second floor. Let’s take a look. Entering the entrance, you’ll find a spacious space like this. Slippers are provided directly in front of you. To the immediate right is your room. It looks like this. It’s quite spacious. The room is based on white, so it feels very clean. There are two large windows, letting in plenty of light. There’s a large TV here, a sofa in front of it, and two beds behind it. This is coffee. Guests are welcome to drink this coffee. In addition to coffee, there’s also tea and Darjeeling tea. Below is the refrigerator. Inside the refrigerator… it says it’s made entirely with Yume Sasara rice from Tochigi Prefecture. It’s a Junmai Daiginjo sake called “Tentaka Kokoro.” This is a sparkling wine called “Martini.” Guests can also drink this. The closet is next to the refrigerator. There’s also a hot spring bag. Towels and bath towels are prepared inside the bag. This is what the inside of the closet looks like. It’s the door on the right as you enter through the entrance, and it’s the guest room with an open-air bath. This is the sink. Oh, is that anti-fog? You can operate it by touch. Amenities are also provided here. Toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and a hair dryer are here. To the left of this sink is the toilet. I’d like to take a look at the open-air bath. This is the bathroom. This is the open-air bath. It’s incredibly good. This hot spring is a mixture of weak alkaline and magnesium springs, and is a rare type of hot spring in Japan where the water is directly drawn from the source. The water is a little cloudy. What’s the temperature? Maybe around 40 degrees. I won’t know until I get in. You can enjoy the open-air bath here, letting in the cool breeze. This room was specially shown to me, so I’d like to take a look. There’s a slope as you enter the entrance, so I wonder if it’s barrier-free? Your room is located right inside the entrance. The bath is directly in front of you as you enter. It’s a spacious space. This is the open-air bath. Wow, it’s nice. This open-air bath also has a mixed spring of weak alkaline and magnesium. This room is on the fourth floor, and the sunlight pours in, making it a really lovely room. It ‘s amazing, isn’t it? This is the open-air bath. You can enjoy the view while bathing in the open-air bath like this. This is also a mixed spring. The view outside looks like this, and you can see all the way to the city. Now, let’s take a stroll around the area. Since we don’t have time to introduce everything, I’ll introduce it twice, today and tomorrow. The facility is really spacious, like this. This is Forest Villa. This is a popular hotel for families, with a full range of amusement facilities, including a kids’ space, karaoke, and a game corner. Let’s take a look. The front desk is on the right as you enter. To the left of the front desk is the shop. There are many souvenirs for sale, like this. This is the kids’ room. You can relax in front of the front desk like this. There are stairs leading down to the basement in front of the front desk, which is the game corner. English: This is it. This is the game corner. There are so many games lined up like this. It’s a game corner you wouldn’t expect to find in a hotel. It’s a large game corner like you’d find in a department store. This is karaoke. This is the table tennis room. When you think of a hotel, table tennis is a must. Oh, it’s quite spacious. Once you start, you can’t stop. You keep playing until you win. This building had a game corner like this. It’s amazing. Over there is the front desk, and just down one flight of stairs here is the large public bath. This is the large public bath called “Mori no Yu.” I’d like to start with the women’s bath. When you enter the bathroom, there is a washing area on the right. There is also a washing area here. This bathtub is a cold bath. Next to the cold bath is the sauna. The sauna looks like this. It has a lovely woody scent. In front of the washing area is the large public bath like this. There are grapefruit floating in the tub. This is also a mixed spring. There is a corridor right next to it. It’s amazing. This is a sulfur spring. It’s hot spring mineral water. It really is a sulfur spring. There is another bath beyond the sulfur spring. Wow, it’s amazing. It looks like a small waterfall. The location is great. There’s also a bath on the left, which is also a mixed spring, and is made of wood. Next I’d like to take a look at the men’s bath. The men’s bath looks like this. There are grapefruit floating in it too. I’ll take a look at the open-air bath. This is a sulfur spring. It’s a beautiful milky white color. There’s also an open-air bath here. This is a mixed spring. There’s an open-air bath like this, and right in front of you is a vast expanse of nature. It seems there’s even a church on the premises. I’d like to take a peek inside. This is the “Garden Suite.” The church is just to the right as you enter the entrance. This is the church. So this is what churches look like. I don’t usually come to churches, so this is a refreshing experience. It seems like it’s lit up at night. It seems like the area in front of the entrance is also lit up, so I’d like to see what it’s like tonight. Ah, I see. So this is what gets lit up. I won’t know until I come, so I’ll come again at night. I have some time before dinner, so I’ll use that time to soak in the open-air bath. It’s great. The temperature is lukewarm. You can heat or add cold water here. It’s a little lukewarm, so I heat it up. There’s a lot of steam rising. The water is a little cloudy, but not much of an odor. It’s now just the right temperature, about 42 degrees. The breeze coming in from outside feels really nice. Now it’s time for dinner, so I’ll head to the restaurant. Tonight’s dinner is a Japanese kaiseki course. The sun is setting nicely at the restaurant “Aria Deli.” Here’s the menu. I’m looking forward to seeing all the dishes. Something stylish suddenly came out. I’m a little nervous. Here are “Kikuna no Osaragi” (Blanched Kikuna), “Shrimp Flakes and Deep-fried Shrimp,” and here is “Autumn Eggplant Dengaku.” The shrimp are plump. After the crispy texture, plump shrimp comes. The dish is called “Steamed Chestnuts with Tortoiseshell Sauce.” It looks piping hot, so I’ll try it. It’s quite hot. The inside is gooey. There’s wasabi on top, and the sauce is slightly sweet, which goes really well with the wasabi. The gooey stuff is probably chestnut, and it has a great texture. There are lots of large shrimp in it. There were also scallops. This is bluefin tuna and red sea bream from Oita. When I eat it at home, I chop the shiso leaves up to this size, and it’s really delicious. I want to taste the tuna itself, so I eat it with wasabi. It’s incredibly delicious. It has just the right amount of fat. It’s not heavy at all. This is an incredibly thick piece of sea bream. Can you tell? It’s very chewy and delicious. Some people prefer sea bream that’s been left in the refrigerator overnight, but I prefer sea bream that’s been strangled and not left too long, so it’s chewy. This is grilled yellowtail from Rausu with yuzuan sauce. Yellowtail used to be hard to catch, but now, thanks to global warming, it seems they’re becoming more readily available in Hokkaido. I can’t really explain how thick it is… It’s a really thick yellowtail. This is a yellowtail from Rausu. The belly and back sections are just the right amount of flavor. I’ll have it with grated daikon radish on top. Wow! Delicious! So delicious. The fat isn’t heavy at all, and it makes me crave rice. This is a takiawase (mixed dish). This is my first time trying duck dumplings. The grilled green onions look delicious, too. The meat has a really savory flavor. It was so stylish, I was a little nervous, but the person who brought the food calmed me down with a friendly conversation, so I was able to eat calmly. The belly and back sections are balanced, so it’s probably delicious. Can you tell? So thick. So tender ? This is Nasu Highland Wagyu beef. It’s incredibly tender. Surprisingly so. So delicious. I ended up leaving only the vegetables. This is rice cooked with Annou sweet potatoes, chopped Kyoto vegetables, and red miso soup. The potatoes look sweet. Ah, I see. I thought the Annou sweet potatoes would be too sweet for the rice, but the red miso soup balances them out nicely. This is Kaga roasted green tea. Ah, what a wonderful aroma. This dish is full of seasonal flavors. I wonder if cream and persimmon go well together? I see. It makes the flavor so mellow . Thank you for the meal. It was incredibly delicious. I thought it might be a little undercooked, but it was just right, slightly full. It might be a little too much for women. Wow, it was delicious. Oh, by the way, there’s an elevator so you don’t have to go up the stairs. I’m working out because I ate too much good food. I’m thinking I’ll go see the illuminations I saw earlier. It’s windy today. Oh, they’re so beautiful. The illuminations are so pretty like this. Apparently they display them every day of the year. It’s amazing. This church is doing projection mapping, so I’d like to go see it. *Due to copyright restrictions, the background music has been muted. You can watch a video recreating the process from the birth of the Earth to the present. The beautiful video will make for a memorable evening. Since I’m staying in a room with an open-air bath, I’d like to take a dip. It’s pretty cold. It’s very cold outside. Taking a dip in the hot springs in this cold is unbelievable. You can’t see the illuminations unless you stand up from the bath, but you can see them like this. I don’t usually drink alcohol, but since I’m here, I’ll have a martini here. Easy to drink. Delicious? Yes. Good morning. I fell asleep while drinking. I’m going to take a morning bath now. It’s getting light, isn’t it ? It’s great to be able to take a dip in the open-air bath in the morning. The weather is so nice. The weather is so nice, but it’s raining quite a bit. This is really strange weather. The breakfast venue is in a different facility. There’s also a pet hotel. I didn’t know that. This is Forest Villa. This is the breakfast venue. This is the restaurant “Mori no Table.” I ate a lot at the restaurant “Mori no Table.” There was a huge variety of delicious-looking dishes. It was a small hamburger, but it had salmon inside. I took a little bit of everything I wanted, little by little. Let’s eat. Yes, it’s delicious. This is the second one. I got a menu item I didn’t get earlier. This was delicious again. Thank you for the meal. Now, let’s go see the other facilities. First, I’ll go to number 5, “Oriental Garden,” which seems to have a hot spring exclusively for guests. This is the building. This is it. There’s a sink and a changing room… As you enter, there are washing areas on the right and left. Right in front of you is a large bathtub. This is all sulfur spring water, so the bathroom is filled with the smell of hydrogen sulfide. It’s a luxurious large open-air bath made from cypress. You can relax in this high-quality water and the scent of natural cypress. The left side of the large bathtub is an open-air bath. It’s nice, an open-air bath like this. The surrounding area hasn’t turned red much yet, but it’s starting to change color. The temperature is just right for a comfortable bath. This is all sulfur spring water, so the bathroom is filled with the smell of hydrogen sulfide. I’ve seen the open-air bath over there, but there’s also a bathtub on this side. This is a cold bath. There’s a cold bath and a sauna behind it. It’s hot! It’s a sauna that looks like this, and it seems like it could fit about 8-10 people. Beyond this cold bath… This is also an open-air bath. There’s one here too. There were two open-air baths like this. The water temperatures vary slightly depending on the bath, so you can enjoy each one. All of these baths are sulfur springs, so the bathroom is filled with the smell of hydrogen sulfide. There are four baths (excluding the cold bath), and this hot spring is quite spacious, so you can soak without worrying about others. It’s so spacious, you can really relax. This is “Owl Forest,” a detached-style cottage in the forest. There are buildings lined up for rent like this. Here, you can relax in the quiet nature. This one has a pretty tranquil feel, a bit Ghibli-esque, or maybe even a little theme park-like. They said they’d show me the room, so I’d like to take a look. This room looks like this. It’s very stylish. This room is also quite spacious, but the high ceiling makes it feel even more spacious. This one… this is the open-air bath. The open-air bath is right next to our room, like this. This is a mixed spring. The relaxation area is just to the right of the open-air bath. Nature is right in front of us. The hotel over there is also very nice, but for those who want to spend some quiet time surrounded by nature, this is definitely the place to be. You can bathe in the open-air bath whenever you want, and whenever you feel like taking in the view, you can look at this natural beauty. This is what it looks like from the other side. Today’s lunch was at the same restaurant where we had dinner yesterday. This is what our lunch looked like. I had beef cutlet curry. This is a fillet cutlet, can you tell? It ‘s a really big fillet cutlet. My wife had hamburger rice. There’s cheese on top of the hamburger, and then red cheddar on top of that. The sauce is demi-glace. I wonder how you eat this? lol Do you bite into it? lol Can you tell? lol It ‘s huge ! lol It’s amazing. I took a big bite. It’s a fillet cutlet, so it’s very tender. The sauce isn’t spicy, so it’s very easy to eat. The portion is so large that I was worried I wouldn’t be able to finish it. Is that hamburger delicious? No, no, tell me what you think. Is that hamburger delicious? Is the cheese rich? Is the cheese rich. Juicy? Juicy hamburger. The cheese is delicious. Oh, the cheese is delicious? And it’s juicy too? Yeah. Is it like having a sports day in your mouth? No. Thank you for the meal . I didn’t expect such a big cutlet to be served. Lol, my stomach’s about to burst. I’d like to go to the Sun Valley Art Museum, where you can enjoy the art museum and apparently they offer pottery experiences . As you enter, to the right, they sell pottery like this. The museum displays works by famous artists. The works are displayed like this, but the pottery experience is here. Choose what you want to make. Is a rice bowl difficult? The bigger it is, though. Well, thank you very much. Thank you. Let’s knead the clay. This is called “Kikuneri,” and it’s called that because the kneaded clay looks like chrysanthemum petals. It has the effect of pushing out the air inside. OK! I thought we were going to do “Kikuneri.” Lol, it’s not. Lol. He explained things clearly and carefully. He kept filming close-ups of the teacher. He praised me a lot. Look, I’ll cross it here. Okay, pull the bottom. Pull it sideways. Faster! OK! Huh? Like this? I don’t think the teacher felt it cut, but the thread went all the way around the bottom and it broke. Finally, I have him lift it up. Tilt it toward you! Okay, lift it up! It’s done! Now it’s time to bake it, right? It’s done! It looks like this. All that’s left is to write what you want on the back. They’ll ship it to your home later. Next, I’d like to see this building called “Aqua Venus.” It looks like it has a hot spring pool. It’s open for day trips. On the right side, they sell swimsuits, goggles, and other items. It’s open for day trips. Now, I’d like to see the men’s bath. This is the changing room. The men’s bath looks like this. There are washing areas on both sides, and an indoor bath in the middle. The spring quality here is sodium chloride sulfate hot spring (hypotonic, weakly alkaline, hyperthermic). There is also an indoor bath here. You can rest in front of the indoor bath like this. There seems to be a rock salt sauna. This is the open-air cold bath. The open-air cold bath is over there, and there is also a rock salt sauna here. Let’s take a look. It’s a very spacious space. It’s quite hot inside. This is what it looks like from the other side. To the left of the sauna… the main building is currently under construction and you can’t go there, but it seems to connect to a facility called Yuyutengoku in the main building. Next, I’d like to see the women’s bath. This is the women’s bath. The women’s bath looks like this. There are washing areas on both sides, and a large bathtub over here. The lighting is relaxing like this. The sauna is in front. Wow! It’s hot! This is the sauna, with a loyly. It’s a very spacious space. Next to the sauna is the cold bath, and there is projection mapping in front of it. Normally, mist comes out from here and fantastic images are played, but unfortunately, we’re still making adjustments so we can’t show you. There’s very relaxing music playing. Before that, you can rest like this. This was the bath area, but over there is the bedrock bath. There’s the “Beitou Stone Bath,” a dome-shaped bedrock bath exclusively for women, made with Beitou stone from Tamagawa Onsen. This is a huge pool, and while it’s closed this season, it’s open in the summer and other seasons. Tonight, I’ll be staying at the “Oriental Garden.” Let’s check in. The shop is just to the right of the entrance, with plenty of souvenirs. The front desk is just to the left. This is the lounge, where you can also enjoy a welcome drink. Proceeding from the entrance, the restaurant is at the end of the hallway. To find your room, follow the corridor next to the front desk. It’s at the end of the hallway. This is the pool. Yes, this is it. This is the room. Room 5112. Let’s take a look inside. When you enter the door, you’ll see a hallway like this. The door on the right is the toilet. There’s a closet on the right. Towels and a bag for going to the large public bath are prepared here. Just beyond is the room. It’s a spacious space like this. There’s lighting at the feet, which is very stylish. There’s a large TV in front of you, and a sofa on the left. There are two beds in front of the sofa. Next to the sofa is a desk. This is a server that dispenses hot and cold water. Coffee and tea are prepared on the table. Under the closet is a refrigerator. There’s nothing in the refrigerator. The door right in front of the closet is the bathroom. There’s a sink. It’s so clean. This is the shower room, which is really clean. And it’s incredibly spacious. Right next to the shower room… this is nice. The room I stayed in last night had a mixed spring, but today’s room is my favorite sulfur spring . The smell of hydrogen sulfide wafts through the air. There are mountains in front of the open-air bath. I’d like to enjoy this bath today. These are curtains, but what about the view outside? Oh, they don’t open any further. When I open the curtains, the forest is right in front of me. It’s a spacious space that’s a little too luxurious for just two people. Above all, that sulfur spring open-air bath is irresistible. I want to soak in this open-air bath until dinnertime. It’s cold. It’s pretty cold outside. The smell of hydrogen sulfide is quite strong. This one is also amazing. The hot spring deposits are amazing . This area is amazing too. I prefer this one to the one I stayed in last night because I prefer sulfur springs. The water temperature here is also warmer. I think it’s around 41 degrees. The great thing about this is that you can soak whenever you want. There’s a large public bath right next door, so you can go in right away. It’s time for dinner, so I head to the restaurant. Restaurant “Banri” offers a buffet with Chinese food as its main dish. This place also has an all-you-can-drink option, and a wide selection of juices and coffees. I took a lot. They cook the food right in front of you, so there’s no surprise choice. They have fried chicken, shumai, sesame dumplings, cheese-filled hamburger steak, yakisoba, spring rolls, mapo tofu, braised pork, and fried rice. After I picked up what I wanted, my plate turned completely brown. Let’s eat. Oh, this is delicious! The noodles are pretty thick. I wanted some shrimp chili, but they were gone in an instant and I couldn’t get any. Since it’s warm, I’ll have this meat. I ‘ll have it with salt. It’s tender . So juicy. This is braised pork. It’s thick. The shine really whets the appetite . Wow, it’s so tender . It comes apart with chopsticks. The sauce is sweet, but not too sweet. It tastes like black vinegar. Delicious. I took a second serving. I also had dessert. The sesame dumplings and yakisoba were delicious, so I had some more. I had a lot of desserts, but I was gradually getting full. Everything was so authentic and rich, I couldn’t eat enough. Thank you for the meal. I ate so much I couldn’t move. It was really delicious. I’m full, but I’d like to take a dip in the open-air bath in my room. It smells great. The temperature is just right. It feels like it’s hotter than before. I’ve said it many times before, but this sulfur spring is truly irresistible. Today I made a one-of-a-kind bowl at the pottery workshop, ate lots of delicious food, and soaked in the hot springs. It was a fantastic day. Now I’m going to sleep. Good morning. I’m going to take a morning bath. It ‘s still pitch black. I’m going to wake up. By the way, it’s only 4:00 AM. I slept too early and woke up. It’s great to be able to take a hot spring bath in the morning without worrying about the time. I thought I was awake, but then my body warmed up again and I started to feel sleepy. It’s only about 4:30 AM, so I’ll sleep a little longer. It’s time to head to the restaurant. Breakfast will be at the same restaurant as last night’s dinner. I had the “Banri” restaurant . The breakfast here may be the best I’ve ever had. This is alfonsino, a large half-grilled alfonsino lined up. This is a soy milk hot pot. As usual, I only picked brown things, and the presentation is messy, but I made a seafood bowl. This homemade seafood bowl is incredibly delicious. It’s natto made with 100% Hokkaido soybeans called “Kurosengoku,” a rare soybean. It’s black. It’s pitch black. It’s rare. Thank you for the meal . It was delicious. My stomach hasn’t had a chance to rest since my stay here, so I’m really full. This time, I stayed at Hotel Sun Valley Nasu for two nights. What did you think? It was two days of delicious food and hot springs. This hotel also offers a variety of other activities throughout the day, including an art museum, pottery workshops, a game center, table tennis, karaoke, illuminations, and a pool. And as for the price, I stayed at the Queen’s Colina building on the first day. The Japanese kaiseki course in a room with an open-air bath was 29,700 yen per adult. On the second day, we stayed in a room with an open-air bath at the Oriental Garden Hall, and the buffet course was 23,650 yen per adult. If you don’t mind the open-air bath, the lowest overall price starts from 12,650 yen, depending on the season. This price is quite reasonable considering you can enjoy the hot springs and meals. If you’re interested in staying here, please do. Now, let’s check out. The weather is nice today. The weather has been a bit iffy for the past two days, but it’s scorching hot on our last day. There are many tourist spots in the surrounding area, so be sure to check them out. See you in the next video! Thank you for watching until the end.

Those kanji in the stone cave says “the hind view of the 11-faces budda”. I can feel the sacredness of the cave!
Izuruyama Manganji Temple looks so mystical and beautiful. Thank you for sharing this very special temple with us, I very much enjoyed seeing it thanks to your video Watatabi-San.
Now, I am curious about the rest of this video. I think this will be quite different from all the other ryokans you have shown so far on your channel. As Hotel Sun Valley Nasu seems to be massive, and totally not the kind of place you normally stay at. We will be staying in a place very close next March, but its totally different. Mongolia village tenger is the name, and we stay in a yurt, there is an onsen, and for dinner, its yakiniku.
Thanks to your channel I now have a list of places to see. If I am lucky. That cave was amazing! You really do a good job showing the most beautiful places in Japan. Please show more. Thank you!
BRAVO
Beautiful ❣
Otsukare sama deshita.🙏I wonder who can eat more food – you or "tasogare mode". 🤣Jodan dayo.🙇♂
It's an excellent resort👍
Thank you for taking us along, quite a contrast this video between the ancient and atmospheric temple site and cave on the cliff and the excellent varied and modern spa facility. Too much food for my appetite but it looked delicious. I hope we will see the rice bowl you made, it was a new crafting experience.😊
