Oh God that looks delicious. I grew a bunch of butternut squash last year and made them butter and brown sugar and melted marshmallows, basically like a sweet potato dish on Thanksgiving but with butternut. So so good. I gotta grow some again next year. Everytime I grow something lately the rodents all eat the blossoms before anything even grows. It's infuriating. I can bird net the fruit trees but how do you protect something growing on the ground?! So infuriating when they ruin months of hardworking. Looks delicious though. I'm gonna have to grow some again for sure.

Looks good but I feel like the squash to brulee ratio would be a bit too skewed. Maybe squash quarters would be a better setup…
