Fuji, we turned onto a nearby road and we came into view. This is the inn where we will be staying tonight . The parking lot is spacious and there are EV chargers, so those with electric cars can use it with peace of mind . Let’s check in right away . The entrance is spacious and there is a lovely lounge with an adult atmosphere. This area is rich in nature, so it seems you can even see wild deer. I looked around a bit, but unfortunately I could n’t see any deer. There are a few things that I’m curious about, but check-in went smoothly , so let’s head to our room first . This time, I booked a Western-style twin room on the second floor of the main building. It ‘s a card key type, so it’s a nice feature that there are two. Let’s get started. Open the door . In, on the immediate right is the sink. Amenities include a toothbrush, shower cap, cotton , etc. The sink is also very simple. There is hand soap and a sparkling cup. Going further in, there was a terrace where you can feel the nature. It would be nice to spend some time relaxing here. And going all the way to the back of the first floor, there is the game corner, which everyone loves . There are all kinds of gachapon machines and lots of crane games as well as the classic hot spring inn, Crocodile Crocodile Panic. There is also a billiard table, which you can play for free. Darts are available for the reasonable price of 100 yen per play . There is also a ping pong table, which is also free. Next door there is a retro soccer game, which you can also play for free. Inside the game corner there is a small room-like space, and inside the room there is a Yogibo . Next door there is a small kids’ corner, so it looks like small children will have fun too. And here you can play Nintendo Switch for free ! There are three types of software, so you might not have enough time ! There was also a stylish lounge in the game corner. The goldfish lights are really cute! After playing hard in the game corner and getting tired, you can come here to enjoy free coffee, hot chocolate , and even soft drinks like Coca-Cola. It might be a good place to come after a bath ! There was also a karaoke room on the first basement floor below the game corner , which seems to cost 1,000 yen per hour . There is also a coin laundry in the back. It is spacious and clean, so even long-term stays can feel at ease. After looking around the hotel, we returned to the lounge on the first floor. What we wanted to do most this time was to cycle around Lake Motosu . Bicycle rentals are free, and they are electric, so it’s easy to get burned ! Now, let’s get started! It’s about a minute’s bike ride from the hotel to Lake Motosu ! There are a lot of people camping here , and it’s very lively. The lake is sparkling and very clear. Many people are swimming and doing things like SUP , and everyone seems to be having fun. After enjoying the scenery to the fullest, let’s try our best to go around Lake Motosu . Cycling in the forest, which is rich in nature, feels great , and it’s really beautiful. It’s really great that you can rent a bicycle for free and go around the lake like this, and it’s fun. After about 20 minutes of cycling , we arrived at Nakanokura Pass , famous for the view of Mt. Fuji that appears on the back of the 1,000 yen bill. Unfortunately, Mt. Fuji was hidden by clouds and we couldn’t see it, but it must have been amazing if it had been sunny . Lake Motosu is 12 kilometers around, and it took about an hour by bicycle. The roads were well maintained, and since we were riding electric bicycles , we were able to dry off even though we’re not very active , but our legs were shaking after we finished . We were also sweating, so we went back to the hotel and decided to take a bath. The hot spring is an artificial Komeishi Onsen hot spring, but it is colorless and transparent , and the water is soft, warming us from the inside out . The indoor bath is spacious, and there is a washing area. There was a lot of water, so I was able to use it smoothly. The temperature of the indoor bath was quite hot, and my body felt warm and refreshed. There was also a sauna and a cold bath, so I was able to sweat thoroughly and soothe my tired body from cycling . The pickled vegetables section also had mustard greens and kimchi, which was a nice touch. There was also sesame tofu , stir-fried cashew nuts, and stir-fried water spinach. The salad section was also substantial , with edamame beans, cherry tomatoes, pea sprouts, lettuce, peppers, and red onions , as well as everyone’s favorite corn and a potato dish .
