The summer heat is easing and the days are getting cooler! 🍁This video shows you how to enjoy the flavors of autumn in a bamboo steamer. 😉First , we’ll make oatmeal steamed buns using pumpkin. 🎃Add 60g of oatmeal, 100ml of milk, and 80g of steamed pumpkin, mashing them together. Add 1 egg, 2 teaspoons of honey, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder, then lightly mix. If you prefer a sweeter taste, we recommend increasing the amount of honey. 🍯Set a damp cloth aside to make it easier to remove the steamed mixture. For the side dish, we’ll make steamed autumn salmon. 🐟️Cut the green onions into bite-sized chunks and loosen the maitake mushrooms. Autumn salmon uses its nutrients for spawning, so it’s low in fat and has a refreshing taste. We recommend seasoning it with miso or saikyoyaki sauce. 💡Add 1 tablespoon of miso, 1 tablespoon of mirin, 1 teaspoon of sake, and garlic. Appropriate amount of meat tube Wipe off any moisture that comes out of the salmon with kitchen paper If you want to make maitake mushrooms and green onions for two people, the ingredients will release a lot of moisture and the flavor will be diluted, so it is recommended to use one steamer for each person 💡 Let’s add cheese too 🧀 It came out fluffy and nicely steamed 🙌 It was hot, fluffy and cooked thoroughly inside ☺️ The salmon, miso, and cheese were a perfect combination 👍️ The green onions were also soft and melty 🤤 The steamed buns had a simple flavor with the slight sweetness of pumpkin If you are eating it as a snack, I think it would be good to add a little more honey 🍯 Next up is a warm salad using apples and sweet potatoes 🍎🍠 Both apples and sweet potatoes are rich in dietary fiber, so they are also recommended for relieving constipation They have been a great help during pregnancy 😂 Peel the apples and cut them into bite-sized pieces that are easy to eat . Prevent discoloration 🍎Cut the sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces for easy eating . As the apples release moisture during steaming, I lined them with a silicone sheet to allow the moisture to drain. The side dish I’m going to pair this with is fragrant steamed eggplant and chicken fillet 🍆Cut the eggplant in half and make a slit in the skin. Finely chop the green onions and sprinkle salt and sake on the chicken fillet. For the fragrant steamed dish, I’ll pour the sauce over it after steaming, so I’ll line it up with kitchen paper. Place the eggplant and chicken fillet side by side and pour the green onions over it. Since there’s space, I’ll also make steamed eggs 🥚To remove the moisture from the apples, I’ll steam the warm salad on the bottom shelf ☁️While they ‘re steaming, I’ll make the fragrant sauce. Add about 2cm each of ginger and garlic tubes, 2 tablespoons of ponzu sauce, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, and a little sesame oil . The aroma of the green onions is lovely ☺️Pour the sauce I made and it’s done ✨️Transfer the sweet potato and apple to a serving dish. While they’re still warm, add the butter. Add a moderate amount of 🧈 and a generous amount of honey, about 2 tablespoons, and it’s done! 🍯 The apples are as sweet as compote, and the sweet potatoes are fluffy and soft. 🤤 They’re so delicious, I wanted to hold them in my arms and eat them! 😌 The eggplant is fluffy and soft enough to cut easily with chopsticks . The fragrant sauce is exquisite, and it pairs perfectly with the eggplant and chicken fillet. 🙌 Finally, we’ll steam the pumpkin and lotus root together, and the sanma pacific saury. 🐟️ The pumpkin and lotus root are easy to cook, so they’re perfect for a light meal. If you slice the ingredients thinly and stack them on top of each other, some parts will not be cooked, so arranging them vertically will prevent uneven steaming◎ Root vegetables take a long time to cook, so steaming them first will save time💡To make the sauce for the lotus root and pumpkin : 2 tablespoons ground sesame, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons double concentrated noodle soup, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon misoToday’s main dish is seasonal sanma! 味気ないですね。 English : Rinse lightly with water and wipe off the water with kitchen paper Sprinkle salt on both sides and let it sit for about 10 minutes Wipe off the water again and cut into pieces that will fit in the bamboo steamer It is said that if you cut the sanma diagonally from in front of the anus, it will be harder for the internal organs to come out Place some thinly sliced lemons and then arrange the sanma on top of that Place another piece of lemon on top of that so that the sanma is sandwiched in between 🍋As I want a light meal this time, I’ll set the bamboo steamer underneath so that the fat from the sanma can drain If the pumpkin and lotus root are still firm, steam them together ☁️They’re shiny and steamed and look delicious Arrange the sanma on a plate and top with lemon and spring onions Finish by pouring ponzu sauce over them and it’s done ✨️The lotus root and pumpkin are both soft and fluffy ☺️They’re sweet and delicious! Homemade sesame sauce goes really well with it ◎ I think I prefer steaming sanma to grilling…! It’s refreshing and easy to eat☺️Everyone , please try enjoying the taste of autumn in a bamboo steamer😌Thank you for watching until the end🙏
