During the Edo period, it flourished as a castle town of the Saiki clan, and even today the castle ruins and samurai residences remain. Speaking of gourmet food, the fish in Saiki is delicious! I really felt that this place was a hidden gem. I was asked by Oita Prefecture to photograph Oita, and first I was asked to choose a location. Of course there were the famous Beppu and Yufuin, and Hita, which I had photographed before, and among those areas, I chose Saiki. The reason was that I thought not many people would go there, and I didn’t know anything about it. I didn’t even know the name Saiki, so I didn’t know anything about it . But when I looked into it, I heard things like, “The seafood is amazing!” , but I couldn’t find much more information than that, but after traveling this time, I realized it was really amazing! The seafood is truly amazing. As was said at the sushi restaurant today, the Bungo Channel has a fast current and there are a lot of muscular fish, which means the fish are delicious, but this area is an even more ria coastline, which means there are a lot of nutritious fish. So there are an incredible variety of fish around here, you can really only get the best fish you can, and there are so many varieties that it feels like you can get them just in Saiki . If you were to go to a place that has delicious seafood, for example, the only thing they produce is amberjack, and the rest they get from various other places, and I think that in most places that do, there are only about three or four varieties, but in Saiki there are more than 10 varieties, so even if you go to a sushi restaurant you can eat 80 to 90 percent local Saiki produce. Eating local food means eating fresh food that you can’t get anywhere else, so it’s definitely worth coming. It’s a very minor area in Oita, so you might think it ‘s in a really remote area, but it’s actually quite close, and if you drive for just over an hour from here you’ll be in Beppu. Beppu is of course a wonderful place, so I recommend you go there, but if you also come to Saiki on your way from Beppu, you can enjoy the hot springs and the seafood, so you can enjoy both in two ways . There aren’t that many hot springs in Saiki compared to Beppu, so please enjoy the hot springs in Beppu or Yufuin, and then come to Saiki for some food and the Tsurumi Peninsula, where I stayed at Kame House, and you can even get the feeling of being on a remote island. I think it’s really wonderful. I actually wanted to go to Oinujima Island or ⭕️ Oonyujima Island after this , but I’m going to be traveling a little longer this week and won’t be able to make it in time for the video , so I ‘ll postpone it for a while. But there are still many remote islands and YouTubers , especially travel-related YouTubers, who don’t post about them because they’re not getting attention. But just because they’re not getting attention doesn’t mean they’re not attractive. In fact, this Saiki could be a super popular spot. The food is so delicious and it’s a fascinating, scenic spot. This place is like that too, isn’t it? It’s a power spot! Why don’t people come here to get some power? It’s a rope that has so much power and I’ve never fallen off it. Even the easternmost point of Kyushu on the Tsurumi Peninsula has such a spectacular view . It wouldn’t be surprising if it became a tourist spot. There’s so much sushi, the people are so nice and the taste is great, and it ‘s really one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to. It might be number one . Even though there is a sushi restaurant like that, it wasn’t like you had to make a reservation to get in. It ‘s amazing! There’s no hidden gem like this, so I hope you’ll come! I was lucky! Honestly, I just happened to find out about this area and come here, so I ‘m super excited and feel like I’m doing a great job. So everyone, please visit Oita. Oita has a lot to offer. I’ve also featured Hita in other videos and Hita is a really great place. There are still areas of Oita I haven’t been to, and not just Oita, but all of Kyushu, there are still many hidden gems. And finally, the sun is shining. So everyone, Oita is the best, so please come and experience it! You can’t convey the deliciousness of the food or the atmosphere in a video , so please go and see for yourself. It’s not far away! Let’s go! So travel is an investment in yourself! It was great! I’ll definitely come again! With this, my trip to Oita and Saiki is over, and now I’m thinking about riding the Sunflower Pearl back home. It was so much fun! It really is so fascinating ! You can go to Beppu quickly from the ferry landing , and you can also go to Saiki quickly, which is very appealing! You can really experience the feeling of traveling. There is also a bus from Nishi-Oita Port of Sanfuraha to Ojiminato-cho and a train from Nishi-Oita Station. The train seems to run about twice an hour, and it seems to go to Oita or Beppu. This means that even people without cars can travel like this. So you can travel by boat without a car, take the train to Beppu, and enjoy the Beppu hot springs. 約９０３平方キロメートルの広さがあります。
人口は約６６，８５１人（令和２年国勢調査）で、
自然豊かで海と山に囲まれた美しい町です。
江戸時代には佐伯藩の城下町として栄え、
今でも城跡や武家屋敷が残っています。
グルメといえば、佐伯の魚はうまい！と言われるほど、
新鮮な海の幸が豊富な町です。
特に、豊後水道の海流によって育まれた魚介類は、
身が締まり、味が濃いことで知られており、
寿司や刺し身、すり身などは絶品です！
特に寿司はネタが大きく、地元の新鮮な魚を使った豪快なスタイルが特徴です。
マグロ、カンパチ、タイ、ブリ、アジなど、その日に獲れた魚を使うため、ネタの鮮度が抜群です。
また大分ならではの豊後牛なども楽しむことができます。
佐伯の気候は、温暖な瀬戸内型気候の影響を受け、冬でも比較的暖かく過ごしやすいのが特徴です。
ただし、山間部では冬に雪が降ることもあります。
年間を通じて穏やかな気候なので、観光しやすい地域です。
アクセスは、最寄りの大分空港からは、車で約２時間。
鉄道ではＪＲ日豊本線で大分駅から約１時間で佐伯駅へ行くことができます。
大阪・神戸からフェリーで別府・大分まで行き、そこからレンタカーや電車での移動もできます。
レンタカーでの移動がおすすめです。

貸切風呂はセクシーで良いですね😄佐伯まさにまだ知られてない大人の旅スポットすぎますね！別府や湯布院に目が行きがちですが穴場感がたまらなく良いなと思いました！
佐伯では海の幸といえば鶴見や蒲江が絶品ですが、是非ラーメンを味わってください。
九州ですので基本とんこつですが麺が中太ストレート麺でバリカタなどではなく柔らかめです。
ガラパゴス化してますが佐伯のソウルフード！昔から小さな街の割にラーメン屋さんが多いのはなぜだろう？と思っていました。

もーりーチャンネル新参者です。大分県佐伯市 エエとこですがな～2023.3訪問しました！！福寿司さんホンマ素晴らしい・・・私は亀八寿司へ行きました。ここも地魚セットがあってなかなかでしたヨ。でも九州最東端の鶴御崎灯台は素晴らしい。行ってません（泣(;｡;)）佐伯市は「鶴」の文字を使った地名や名前があるんです。有名なのは地元の名門「佐伯鶴城高校」。鹿児島にも「鶴丸高校」があって「鹿児島ラサール」よりも地元では格上らしい・・・。それはともかく佐伯市は食の宝庫であることがよく分かりました。もう一度夏前・夏後の観光客の少なそうな時期に行ってみたいです。基本的なことですが佐伯市は 「さ・い・き」 であって「さえき」ではない（ＷＷＷＷＷ）以外に盲点。
冬の青森に引き続き、楽しく見ごたえのある動画でした。

車で大分上陸お疲れ様です佐伯市来たら魚寿司はもちろんなんだけど佐伯ラーメンも堪能して下さい大分佐賀関から四国に渡り帰るパターンも良いです
大分県臼杵市に湯の里と言う宿泊施設に河豚を食べれる所も良いですよ

原尻の滝のすぐそばに緒方町というところがあるのですがそこは僕の母方のご先祖様の町です。平安末期の武将です。緒方三郎惟栄（おがたさぶろうこれよし）と言います。
オススメに出てきました。
8月のお盆に佐伯に住んでいる親戚の家に遊びに行くので、参考にさせていただきます！

この回は観光者向けのところがメインのようですが、まだまだ美味くて良い店は沢山あるので、また佐伯に行くことがあれば、地元民お勧めの店をもっと紹介してほしいです。

大分県は、海鮮はその土地土地でめちゃ美味しい物があります。 観光地としても最高ですネェ😊食べ物も何でも美味しい。田舎の町でも石を投げたら、そこら辺のなんたらミシュラン1に必ず当る。

個人的には大手前のホテルに泊まった方がうまいもん通りが近く夜の食べ歩き飲み歩きが楽しめたのではないかと思いますので、是非次回があれば行ってみてほしいです🫡
