Corn Fritters on the Blackstone Griddle.

[Music] [Laughter] [Music] all right everybody my name is Tom ian is the gallery backyard BBQ we got one a cup of flour one red bell pepper five tablespoons of milk one egg some scallion baking powder one can of corn and a dash of red pepper flake fresh cracked black pepper tablespoon of sugar and some salt I’m using pink Himalayan salt let’s get to ready we made it through that first up is a sift your flour and your raw baking powder of course sift it together we don’t want no lumps next add your dry ingredients right you’re a fresh cracked black pepper pinch of salt some sugar and your run red pepper flakes all right give them a little mix and start to introduce your wet ingredients okay we’re starting with five tablespoons of milk we know it’s gonna take more but you can always add but you can never take out right so you don’t want to add too much and we’re looking for a consistency of like a thick pancake batter Zeca pancake batter so you add a little you mix a little you add a little you mix a little right oh yeah [Music] mix rattle and roll mix round and roll and there you go [Music] again you’re looking for no lumps no lumps and a thick consistency like a pancake a thick pancake batter thick pancake batter and that’s looking pretty good right there right yeah and from there we start heading our ingredients of red pepper and scallions right red bell pepper miss counties get those a little mix in next up is our corn of course you want to drain your sweet corn right if it’s got too much moisture you’re gonna mess up your run on batter be too loose and at the end you could add a couple of tablespoons of butter or a little olive oil I’m going with the olive oil oh yeah then you go right we’re looking good at about 475 degrees right you see that smoke coming we got some oil down and some butter some butter basically how you want to put these down uh two spoons one big one little just kind of drop them in just kind of drop them now most people love cook these in oil right they deep-fry them or they fry them but uh it’s 75 degrees out and the beer is cold so uh I’m gonna pancake them out on the black stone [Music] [Applause] [Music] where you see that discoloration that light tan on the bottom that’s where you know it’s uh almost I have to a flip right but right now let’s uh sit down Nelson to be us I’m just right there you go time the flood that was a quick whoops and you could see I got a nice brown and I mean it looks just about like a pancake right and the scallions the red pepper in there need a pepper flakes and sugar and salt paprika and the corn mix for a quite the quite the meal right quite the breakfast quite the snack a little more butter down on the flip or special effects of sure [Music] [Music] Yeah right we got a couple more to fit so we’ll drop them down drop them down [Music] a little more butter down right sit back and listen to the sizzle and you see the color on those corn fritters with the corn and the peppers and scallions and just a flip um as you need to a flip it right again it’s not a smash burger with one flip you can flip these as many times as you want I’m looking for a certain color and so I’ll flip till I get it [Music] and I’m gonna keep those on a little bit longer Roy just to get a little bit more color for the wife [Music] [Music] the color on these things is just gorgeous [Music] and there you go [Music] and there we are everybody I like a little powdered sugar on mine little uh maple syrup maybe some just some butter okay there’s all kinds of ways some dressings pick your favorite dressing your favorite topping and go to Tim I mean if you like corn you can’t go wrong with these bad boys I mean there’s a lot of flavor packed in that uh pancake I guess you could say right I’ll also have these for breakfast and I’m sure you’ll see a video on that it’s a little maple syrup [Music] [Music] alright that’ll do it don’t do it as we close out this video I want to thank my subscribers right don’t forget to leave a comment leave me a thumbs up thumbs down it’s all good and we’ll see you soon you

1 cup of flour
1 tbs baking powder
5 tbs milk (to start as you’ll need more)
1 egg
1 bell pepper any color. you can also you hot
scallion
fresh cracked black pepper, salt, tbs sugar tbs red pepper flake.
