80年続く2坪6席ラーメン屋!午前8時から朝ラーメンを求めて常連殺到する大阪老舗ラーメン店。
This is seriously delicious. Makes you wanna eat it. I don’t know why,
but I’ve been coming since my twenties. Delicious!
The best! A Chinese noodle shop in Osaka that’s been
around for 80 years. Regulars flock here
for morning ramen. It’s really only about 66 square feet. I even ran my school in just 66 square
feet . Thank you! Thank you so much! Fukagawa Minami, Higashinari Ward, Osaka
City . 8-minute walk from Fuse Station on
the Kintetsu Osaka Line . Established in 1945 . Chinese Noodles
Sumiyoshi. 7:15 AM . Staff arrive for work . Good morning! Sumiyoshi Takai-da Ramen, known as the
“shop that never evolves.” With its unchanged taste since founding,
it has many regulars . Setting up the shop for the 8:00 opening . Hydrating. Only 6 seats inside . Staff: Do customers come in pretty
quickly? Customers are already waiting . Customers are already
waiting in front of the shop… Many customers arrive way before me . Staff: How do you handle the soup?
Early in the morning? Yeah. We boil it with the water. Menma, green onions. Staff) How long have you been here? About 5 years for me . There’s another employee who’s been here about 15 years . We mostly
chat with the regulars . Customer) Ready to go? Yeah! 7:35 Opening ※Normally opens at 8:00 . A bit early today! Entered right at opening . Chinese Noodles 700 yen. Chashu Noodles
950 yen . Wonton Noodles 950 yen . Cooking starts without taking orders . Staff) Do you know what regulars always
order ? Yeah, it’s easier if I remember. Staff) Do they always order the same
thing? Never actually ordered anything. Pretty cool, huh ? Hungry as hell . Don’t know why, but I come every week . First time I came here was when I was 5 . Now I’m 62. My old man brought me. Staff) A taste of nostalgia , huh? Yeah, that’s right. Just makes me want to eat it . Don’t know
why. I come here to chat . Chatting away while waiting for ramen . Soy sauce & Chicken bone broth, light
and clear. Good morning I’m the old man from the butcher shop next
door. The famous old man . The master of Fukae . Top it with menma,
chashu, and scallions!
Chashu Ramen 950 yen, Large Bowl of
Chinese Noodles 1000 yen . Without hesitation, I pour on a ton of
pepper . The pepper here is delicious. I come here for this pepper . Back in the day, the owner’s mom ran the
place, but she retired . She knew how to gauge her mood when she cooked, adding just a little
pepper. When Mom was in a bad mood, the pepper was
super spicy . Same as always, same as always . Same as always, delicious . Chashu piled
on like crazy . Thank you! This place is old, huh? Over 50 years? 80 years? My dad used to come here when he was young . They put the noodles in the strainer
without draining the water much . Staff: Have you been coming here for a
long time? Yeah, yeah. Every week. It’s me. It’s kinda addictive, maybe ? It’s just too good . Slurping mindlessly… It’s really delicious . Staff: When was your first time here? My dad brought me here. I was in
elementary school, I think. Back when the old lady was still running
the shop. Ah, it’s the old lady ! The previous owner . The owner’s mother (the previous owner)
is filling in today . Thank you! You always come here, don’t you ? Thank you! I can’t quit. Don’t quit. I won’t quit . No, don’t quit . Much obliged! Thank you very much! This pot has been here since the beginning , nearly
80 years. We change it often because it gets holes . Staff) Is it custom-made? Yes. You won’t find anything like it . I hardly ever come to the shop . How many years has it been since I last
came? My daughter isn’t here right now . I ran the shop for 56 years . Ever since
I married into the family . Staff) Back then , was this shop the
origin of the name “Takaida Ramen” ? Yeah, this was the very first one . Staff) Why
“Takaida Ramen”? Well , there’s a bus stop called Takaida
right there. People used to meet up here at
night. The Takaida bus stop turned into Takaida
Ramen . Staff) Did it have a different name
originally? Sumiyoshi . No, no doubt about it! It was delicious. They’re not open this early in the morning , you know . Staff) It’s rare
to see you here so early, isn’t it? Yeah, it is . Staff: Is ramen okay first thing in the
morning? I can handle it. 8:25 AM. Customers keep coming in . Staff: You’re doing Chinese-style
noodles for 700 yen? Staff) That’s super cheap. It used to be 500 yen . Staff) So the price went up to 700 yen? Wonton noodles 950 yen . Here you go~ Wonton noodles for you . He also dumps a huge amount of pepper on
his . Slurping it up deliciously… If it’s too light, just say so . A big bite . Staff) Takeout too? Staff) How many servings? Four servings. My dad’s been coming here forever. Whenever we had something to celebrate,
he’d treat us to ramen here. Now I’m coming to eat it with my own
money. It’s got so much sentimental value
. It’s the best! This will keep me going
at work. I finish late, so I come after work , eat this, and go to sleep. I’ve been coming since my dad (the
previous owner) was here . Staff) How many years has that been? Since high school. Came every day. Nearly 40 years ago . Staff) What keeps you coming back? Mom) The pretty girls. The pretty girls haven’t shown up yet,
huh? The flavor here… it’s the kind you just
crave again. There’s something in it . Staff) Who founded the shop? My grandfather. My father-in-law. The chashu and noodles haven’t changed . They’re from the same place . Staff: So Grandpa started it, and your
husband worked here? Yeah. I took it over. Thank you. That was delicious! My parents and siblings would be thrilled
if I brought them home . Is it okay if I make some? I’ll take it ! I’ll come back for it! Takeout order. The previous customer returned . Perfect timing! The Chinese noodles are ready. Adding pepper . Do you want plastic wrap? No, no need . Let’s eat! Staff: Are you taking it to go? That’s the shop over there . That takoyaki place . Breakfast. One male customer arrives . Chinese noodles arrive. What I always order: Extra bamboo shoots,
extra scallions . Bamboo shoots . Chashu. The same delicious taste as always . Probably because the kelp flavor really
comes through. It’s delicious. I’ve been coming here for about 30 years
now, I think. I’ve known the place since my dad’s time. Been coming since my twenties. Delicious!
The best! It’s got that old-school soy sauce flavor, right? You don’t find this kind of taste
much anymore. Maybe once a week ? Never gets old~ 10:13 AM. The morning rush ends, and the
owner’s mom comes home . The chashu is sliced for us at the
butcher shop in the back . We even borrow their fridge. We’re practically one. The butcher shop “Miyuki” is right behind
the shop . It’s been around since my dad’s
generation, so we’re old school. Ordering chashu ramen . No wonder it’s so
busy. The manager arrives. Once you hit 50, your whole body aches . Got these weird pains. Thank you! Thanks a bunch! Seriously, it’s only about 66 square feet . I ran a school in just 66 square feet . Crazy, huh ? Staff: When you fry the
noodles , is there a reason they’re barely
drained? Our noodles are delicious, right? The water in the pot is the seasoning. That’s why you can’t drain the water . Even now, year-end is crazy. We sell thousands . Like 2,000 or 3,000 in a single day . In 2 tsubo . Most are takeout. Staff) Like New Year’s Eve soba . Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, The large chashu
noodles are super long, huh? I’ve been coming here for nearly 50
years. It’s partly because of this person’s personality—they’re super cheerful . The manager gave me a drink . Customers waiting while practicing
danjiri . Awesome!
It’s super delicious . They’re festival kids. Practice starts now. It’ll start ringing in 15 minutes . Thank you for the meal! You can hear the practice sounds all the
way to the shop . Regulars flock to this “shop that never
evolves.” An up-close look at an Osaka

called “Appareya,” right? That’s a ramen
shop . My classmate runs it. He taught me about 10 years ago, and I’ve been doing it ever since. Making boiled eggs . My mom’s brother used to do it. I got hired there and learned how to do it later . I’m the second generation, sort of . The previous owner built a house with
the money from champon . The soup is made by simmering chicken
bones and pork bones for about 10 hours. Staff) What is this for? This is all the soup. For ramen, champon , and chuka-don too. Staff) When was the shop founded? Since we started calling it “Butachinkan,”
it’s been quite a while . Close to 50 years, I think? I’ve been doing it for a little over 20

隣にもラーメン屋さんがあったけどガラガラだったのを覚えてます😅
So, this video is just reposted from a few months ago. Not a new video.
