Hello everyone. It’s finally September. I hope you’re feeling well. Thanks to everyone, I’m feeling pretty healthy. ☺︎ I’ve just finished preparing some matcha pudding . Chicken has been all the rage since my last “Khao Man Gai.” Today, I felt like making noodles with “Bang Bang Chicken.” Actually, I’ve been worried about my lack of vegetables lately. On the day of my wedding, I noticed some swelling in my face, which had been bothering me while I was getting my hair done at the salon … (crying). The next day, I started researching my symptoms online and looking back at pictures of my daily meals. Brunch: Chilled noodles with Bang Bang Chicken (sesame soy milk soup). My usual Pu’er tea. “Maybe I’m not getting enough vegetables?” I thought. Even though my appetite is reduced in the summer, I eat soba or somen noodles almost every night with plenty of eggplant, grated daikon radish, wakame seaweed, and green onions, but I don’t eat any other vegetables, so my diet is unbalanced, and I don’t want to eat anything else… As you can see, I tend to like similar meals during the day too… (lol). …This has gotten long, but from now on I will try to gradually increase the amount of various vegetables and protein I eat☺︎ Dessert – Matcha pudding with yakka (red bean paste and soybean flour topping) I have always had the habit of having a round face no matter how thin I am… (tears). I finally lost enough weight to stop my period and finally got my face thinner… (I’ve been there once before). Of course, I’ve sworn to myself never to hurt myself like that again, yes ☺︎ Dinner: Goya Chanpuru (mini), fried eggplant and somen noodles (mini), crab mayonnaise kimbap . Thanks to my neighbors, I’m able to eat Goya Chanpuru again this year 🙏🏼 I wonder if tuna champuru exists? / I’ve taken another look at my diet and health… and I feel like I’ve found more joy in trying new habits and being creative ☺︎ another dayI decided to make vichyssoise/potato potage to use up the leftover potatoes . Every time I make and eat this potage, I’m reminded of my grandmother ☺︎ I found some salted bread at the bakery… and decided to make sandwiches with it. Of course, I stuffed it with all my favorite ingredients… and added tomatoes from my garden…♪ Okay, it’s finished ♪ It’s a bit sad, but I should probably finish the honey lemon one soon… Brunch: Salted bread sandwich (chicken, sliced ​​cheese, cream cheese, lettuce, cucumber), Vichyssoise (soy milk), Honey lemonade soda. Back then, my grandmother used to make vichyssoise for me, but it didn’t suit my palate as a child, so I took one sip and left the whole thing (sorry). However, strangely enough, rather than leaving it because it wasn’t tasty , I vividly remember the taste and thought, “It’s tasty, but this is an adult taste…” and so I make it by trial and error, relying on my palate’s memory (lol). I wish I had asked for the recipe… another day #2 I really want to eat ◯◯ today…! Have you ever had a day like that? For a few days now, I ‘ve been thinking , “I want to eat yangnyeom chicken” (lol). I became obsessed with this recipe from a certain YouTuber… This time I made fried chicken because I wanted to eat it myself, but if you’d like, please take a look at the original recipe in the description section ☺︎ It’s truly amazing how people can come up with recipes like this and share them with the world (hats off). Thanks to them, I’m enjoying this delicious meal, yes… (thank you). Brunch: Yangnyeom chicken noodles (with plenty of bean sprouts and green onions/chicken breast), Chinese-style pickled cucumber, and my usual Pu’er tea. First, I set the chicken aside… and mixed it all together thoroughly before eating (sorry if it looks so unsightly 🙏🏼). The crispy chicken and the deliciously spicy noodle soup are irresistible… (tears). Oh, and don’t forget to take some stomach medicine… (lol). It’s so delicious. I’m sure it will capture the stomachs and hearts of many people… (touched). Dessert: Same as last time, matcha pudding, lemongrass tea to cool down my mouth and stomach. The combination of matcha and red bean paste is starting to feel a little autumnal… / Night is falling earlier now… \My favorite dessert for dinner was peaches♡ …But my husband is away on a business trip tonight… I couldn’t eat all the big peaches, so I decided to make my second compote of the season (hehehe♪) But, you know… peaches spoil easily and they go bad quickly, so I could just boil them… right? (trying so hard to justify myself). Phew… I’ll rest for tonight. Peach season is almost over… Good morning next day . I made French toast with some of my husband’s baguette . It was fluffy because I prepared it last evening☺︎ I served it with caramelized bananas… and I had decaf Earl Grey☺︎ \ The weather’s not great, so I’m sleepy, meow… / I tried to pet him, but he punched me (lol). \ I’m not in the mood for that right now, meow. / Sorry, Sean (lol). Brunch: Banana and blueberry French toast (with vanilla ice cream) and Earl Grey tea (decaf) . I started the day off at a leisurely pace, eating some crispy, fluffy French toast . It’s almost time to say goodbye.
