I prepared yakitori and beer. The sound of the “cheers” fireworks really made me feel the summer. The continuous fireworks, like those launched at theme parks, looked like bouquets of flowers and were so cute. My wife seems to like the “morning glory” fireworks. They look like morning glory flowers. Once you experience the relaxing atmosphere of these fireworks, you’ll never want to go to another fireworks festival. I’m a little tipsy. I’m feeling great. August 3rd. Today, I’m taking a direct bus to Kisarazu Outlet Park. The wide, covered walkway makes shopping comfortable even in the heat. I’m going hiking this summer, so I’m shopping for mountaineering gear today. I love the Japanese brand Mont-Bell, not only for its high performance but also for its beautiful colors. I bought a cute hat and jacket. This thin, lightweight parasol is cool. I like silver. I want sandals from the American brand KEEN. We bought matching hiking boots from the French brand SALOMON . For lunch, we had tempura bowls and seafood bowls. Both were delicious! There were so many interesting brands. We had a great time. I’m satisfied. I’m going to make dinner now. I had some leftover bell peppers, eggplant, carrots, and onions, so I ‘m going to use them to make keema curry. We use a lot of canned tomatoes in our curry because I love tomatoes. Sometimes I use commercially available curry roux, but I often use S&B spice mix. I’ll use that again today. I use a lot of garlic to beat the heat. I crush the garlic and then finely chop it. Eggplant and bell peppers spoil easily, so keema curry is convenient because I can use them all at once. I cut the eggplant, bell peppers, onions, and carrots into uniform cubes. Fry the garlic until fragrant, then add the onions and carrots. Add a little salt and stir-fry over medium heat to bring out the sweetness of the vegetables. Add the eggplant, bell peppers, and a little salt and stir-fry until the eggplant is cooked through. Add oil to the same frying pan and stir-fry the ground pork over high heat. Season generously with salt. Once the aroma is fragrant and the meat is cooked through, add the red wine and simmer. Once the liquid has evaporated, add the spice mix and chili powder and continue to stir-fry over low heat. Add the canned tomatoes, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce and taste. Add salt to taste. Once the flavors have come together, add the stir-fried vegetables. Finish. Summer Vegetable Keema Curry: The acidity of the tomatoes, the sweetness of the vegetables, and the spiciness of the spices will whet your appetite. This is the perfect summer curry. August 10th. Today, we’re in Shibuya to see a solo exhibition by one of our favorite artists. We ‘ll have lunch at Thai Cuisine Laboratory, a Thai restaurant known for its affordable and delicious food. The spring rolls that came with the lunch set included pho. They were delicious. The green curry and gapao rice, served in a kitchen where Thai is spoken everywhere, were authentic! They were both delicious and affordable. I can see why there was a line. The restaurant’s air conditioning might have been broken. The spiciness of the food, combined with the heat of the restaurant, made me sweat a lot while eating. I’d like to return when the weather cools down. My GORE-TEX shoes made walking in the rain comfortable. I came to Leo Lionni’s solo exhibition. He is famous for his “Swimmy” painting. From here on, I’ll use many photographs to explain the contents of the exhibition. Dutch-born artist Leo Lionni. Chapter 1 introduces the various techniques he uses in his paintings. I found it fascinating. His most commonly used technique is collage. It’s a simple technique of cutting and pasting materials, but depending on the materials and combinations used, it can express a wide variety of worldviews. Looking closely at his paintings, I noticed that many different materials are pasted onto each piece! The mouse, the most frequent character in his picture books, is also depicted using “collage.” To create a more realistic drawing, he tore the paper body by hand. He cut off the tail and ears with scissors. Even the dog’s fur is realistic. He collected paper in a variety of colors and patterns. When that wasn’t enough, he used paper he had colored himself. While his “collage” tends to get the most attention, he also possesses highly skilled “drawing” techniques. His works have a completely different appeal. They have a delicate atmosphere. This exhibition allows you to learn about his roots. I was able to learn about his wonderful life, something you wouldn’t get from his picture books. Chapter 2 is an exhibition of the unique stories he creates. His picture books often have themes of “self-discovery” and “small peace. ” “Six Crows,” a story themed around “small peace,” is a wonderful story. I was surprised to learn that he illustrated so many other wonderful picture books besides “Swimmy”! Chapter 3 is an interactive exhibit. I was looking forward to it. This is a model of his house in Chianti, Italy. It seems he lived a wonderful life there. You can try out frottage, a technique he often used. By utilizing the texture of everyday materials, you can easily create a variety of patterns. I completed an artistic mushroom. I drew the tuna from “Swimmy.” My wife asked me, “Are you emotionally unstable?” She’s worried about me. The experience of painting using classic techniques was fascinating, and it allowed me to feel a little closer to him. What’s inside the three acrylic cases? Various plants, stones, and animals that appear in his picture books are displayed like specimens. They look like jewels. I was amazed at the variety of bird illustrations alone! The last exhibit was “Swimmy.” I remember being read this book to my parents as a child until it fell apart. It’s my favorite story. Perhaps even as a child, I was captivated by the colors of his paintings and the courage and wisdom of “Swimmy. ” Learning about Leo Lionni at this exhibition made me fall even more deeply in love with his work. I had been interested in the souvenir shop even before seeing the exhibition. The wide selection of items was exciting. The exhibition was very tasteful, from the presentation of the exhibition space to the cute merchandise. I also bought a picture book. Such a precious item was displayed in such a place! It’s a woodblock print of “Swimmy.” I feel like enjoying a delicious cup of coffee while feeling happy right now. This popular cafe and bar is a must-visit. Since it was my first time there, I tried the oat milk latte made with the cheapest blend of beans. It was delicious. The Basque cheesecake and tiramisu were both elegant and delicious. Today was another wonderful day. This is one of his masterpieces, “Frédéric.” It’s a wonderful story inspired by a field mouse he encountered in a garden. It’s a nostalgic picture book we’ve loved since childhood. “Alexander and the Wind-Up Mouse .” This is a magnet of “Swimmy.” I love that it’s stainless steel. A keychain with no secret contents . I won “A Fish is a Fish,” the story of a fish longing for a frog. My wife won “A Color of Your Own,” the story of a chameleon searching for his own color. This little bag, with no idea what’s inside, is also “my own color.” I like that it resembles my pet lizard and that it’s the perfect size to hold three tubes of lip balm. This is a Frederick postcard. This is a Swimmy ballpoint pen. My wife says she uses this at work to boost her motivation. This is a “A Year of Variety” T-shirt. I bought some children’s clothes for my niece to wear. Please subscribe to my channel and give it a thumbs up.
