Chicken Nuggets to LOSE WEIGHT (Recipe) ダイエット中も満足!おからチキンナゲット (レシピ)
This is healthy chicken nuggets using Okara!
Okara (soy pulp) is a bean curd refuse which is left after making soy milk. It is low in calories, low in fat, high in fiber, and also contains protein, calcium, iron, and riboflavin. It is an excellent diet food! What another thing I love about Okara is it enables the blood to flow smoothly! In other words, it reduces the blood cholesterol level!!!
As you might know, we usually make Unohana (simmered Okara) using Okara but this time, I mixed it with chicken and made chicken nuggests. It’s texture became like a meat and my darling really loved it ;D hehe
It appeared on P.81 of a recipe mook (magazine book) published by Kodansha.
講談社MOOK「レシピブログ2010-2011年ベスト版、安リッチで毎日が幸せ!『おまかせ!みんなのおうちごはん』」の81ページに私のレシピが掲載されています♪
I named it after “Tandoori” because I used yogurt and spices that are used for popular Indian dish called Tandoori Chicken. hehe
BTW, 1122 is our marital anniversary!!!

Found it! I was out biking and saw a sign at one of those Mom & Pop tofu shops which had a list of products including Okara. I was surprised at the price – just 150 yen for about 700 grams (I weighed it when I got home).
Okara is a very interesting product and I never heard about it until your video – thanks for the information and I think I will include it as part of my diet.
You can get it from NTUC 😀
Medi-ya in Liang Court sells them. in fact they sell a lot of Japanese ingredients/foods that can't be obtain from regular supermarkets.
I had tried this recipe yesterday sunday 😀 but I changed the plain yogurt with strawberry yogurt, it tasted オイシイ!!and forgot to take the pic, anyway thank you so much for the recipe! Love you channel!!! <3

I'm so noob when it comes to cooking, but just some stupid questions for expert like you, how much oil and water did you pour into that red pan thing? and what kind of pan is that? I'm planning to cook for my date for the first time in my life this up coming anniversary next month.. i still have no idea what kind of utensil to get and where to buy the ingredient, but i'm doing my research
its a deep fryer and it probably has about 1 liter of oil in it

For those of u who don't know what sake is,it's almost like alcohol (IM PRETTY SURE)
I try the sauce only, because i can't find the others ingredients but it is very delicious. I didn't think that ketchup and mayonnaise together can be so good.

Would the taste be drastically changed/ be bland if I skip out on the Garam Masala? I've been wanting to make this and finally got my hands on some okara, but Garam Masala is the only thing I don't have..

Can you do more recipes using okara? Thank you 😉

Okara is the solid leftover from soy beans when making soy milk.
