Today, I’m going to share tips and recipes for a smoothie life, perfect for the summer The soon-to-come summer is a season when a variety of vegetables come on the market at cheaper prices than in the winter and smoothies can cool down your body in heat nourish you when you have low appetite from the heat so summer is a perfect season to start a smoothie life I’m sure that a lot of people have once tried to start a smoothie life and bought a blender but have had a hard time making it stick I’ve actually had the same experience Why is it so hard to make it stick? I think there are 2 main reasons One is the hassle of cleaning the blender If your blender is hard to clean, like the blade is not easily reachable by sponge Smoothie making becomes a stressful task So when choosing a blender, try to pick a model that’s easy to clean Another reason is lack of new recipes A lot of people don’t know which vegetables and fruits would be a good combination and end up making the same thing over and over again So today, I want to share tips and recipes for a healthful smoothie life and making it stick Basics of making a great smoothie are Use fresh ingredients that are in season Combine similar colors and Keep it simple Ingredients that are in season are high in nutrients and relatively cheap to get Fresh ingredients are uplifting and can nourish your soul Combining similarly-colored ingredients limit your choices so it becomes easy to figure out what to put together and instead of having brown smoothie that doesn’t look appetizing you can make beautiful smoothies with vibrant colors like green and red If you put too many kinds of ingredients the color and taste become dull and it won’t be an exciting smoothie so try to keep the ingredients simple When you think about what to put in the smoothie it’s important to make it delicious and smooth Even if it’s nutritious, you won’t want to drink smoothies that don’t taste good or don’t have good texture With bitter green leafy vegetables like spinach and lettuce use fruits with a strong sweet flavor like bananas, pineapples and apples Also, if you process raw nuts like cashew and almond soaked overnight in the blender, it becomes easy-to-make nut milk It’s very rich so it can mask bitterness in vegetables With vegetables that have rough texture like carrots and beets use ingredients with lots of liquid like orange, tomatoes and grapefruit to make a smoothie with a nice smooth texture To make a healthful, healing smoothie try adding live probiotics I use homemade kombucha as the base, but you can also add amazake or vinegar You might think smoothies are made only with vegetables and fruits but fresh herbs are also perfect for smoothie making Herbs add flavor and aroma You can also use them as medicine and choose herbs according to conditions you want to alleviate Besides fresh herbs, spices are also great for smoothies You can keep different kinds of spices in your pantry and use spices that match your mood or ingredients on the particular day according to the aroma or taste Or just like with herbs, you can choose spices according to certain conditions then your everyday smoothie becomes a healing tonic If you think that you’ve been eating a bit too much lately or feel a bit heavy why not make one holiday a smoothie detox day? On the night before the detox day, keep your supper light And on the detox day, you don’t eat anything and just have 5-6 smoothies throughout the day Besides smoothies, you need to drink a lot of water If you make detox water with herbs it’ll be even more detoxifying I’ll share with your 5 smoothie recipes perfect for smoothie detox Refreshing smoothie with little sweetness Use 250ml water as the base Combine a bunch of Japanese basil one kiwi (rich in vitamin C) one cucumber (highly detoxifying) some vinegar of your choice and process in a blender Top it fennel seeds which are a great aid for digestion If you want to add sweetness, you can add amazake or maple syrup Uplifting smoothie with a vibrant pink color Use 200ml kombucha as the base Combine vitamin and mineral rich beets and tomato and wolfberries (Chinese medicinal fruits) and process in a blender If you can’t get kombucha, use water If the tomato smells a bit raw, add some lemon Highly satifying dessert smoothie Combine 250ml water a bunch of spinach which is rich in iron and vitamin C, great for vegans a banana raw cashew nuts soaked in water overnight and process in a blender Top it with matcha and cinnamon Cashew milk and banana masks the bitterness of spinach well Besides spinach, you can use other bitter green leafy vegetables like parsley and kale Spicy and warming smoothie rich with vitamin C Combine 150ml water, 1 orange, half a lemon, half a yellow bell pepper a quarter carrot, ginger, cardamon and amazake and process in a blender You can peel the orange and lemon very finely and dry the peels to use in tea or cooking so you won’t waste any part Top it with turmeric, the star of all spices and black pepper which helps the absorption of turmeric’s curcumin It’s a great smoothie for people who work in an air-conditioned office all day or people who have cold feet/hands Milky but smooth salad smoothie Combine 250ml water, 3 lettuce leaves, some fennel leaves raw almonds soaked in water overnight and amazake, and process in a blender Top it with aromatic nutmeg Almond milk and fragrant fennel masks the bitterness and raw smell of lettuce Instead of fennel, you can use any of your favorite herbs like sweet basil, dil, mint, lemon balm etc. as the accent to your smoothie Today, I share tips and recipes for a healthful smoothie life and making it stick I hope you give it a try in the upcoming summer perfect for starting a smoothie life See you next time!

待ってました!!朝食欲がなくて食べれなかったので、スムージーはじめてみました。しかし、栄養のいいものごっちゃ混ぜだったのでイマイチ味が…そして、時間が経つと見た目が泥のように…
今回のレシピ、とてもわかりやすかったので早速やってみます!とても美味しそうです。

ビーガンでない私には色々な食材の組み合わせのメニューの味の想像がしにくいところがあります😣(単に自分の経験の無さかもしれませんが💦)
作っても自分にあまりにも馴染みがない味だったらどうしようかも思うと、なかなか作る勇気が出ません
味の解説がもう少しあれば、作ってみようともっと思えると思いました💧

Smoothie’s are awesome I can’t wait to try these recipes some of my favorites are turmeric and spirulina the combination’s are endless and thank you for the great ingredients I didn’t think of great job 🌷🌺🌸💐
In my experience you need to have a nice balance between the greens and any fruit. I start with unsweetened soy yogurt that I make myself. Bananas aren't that nutritionally dense but they add a nice texture. I add spinach or dandelion greens then the fruits like a citrus, berries, and either apple or pineapple. I also add ground flax seed and chia. You have to be careful because too many greens can overwelm the taste. It isn't nice to start your day with a thick green-brownish smoothie. My preference for beets, celery, carrots is to make juice and use any leftover pulp for soups or crackers.
