【臨月で体が重い】やる気ゼロでも作れる夏野菜カレー|簡単・大量作り置き|Easy summer vegetable curry
Hello. This is Touko’s mom. It’s less than a month until my sixth child is due. As I enter the final month of pregnancy, my body feels heavy. Do you want some steamed bread? I made it. Snack. It’s not bread with bugs in it. Steamed bread. Eat it while sitting. Steamed bread. For snacks, I use steamed rice flour egg bread. As I enter the final month of pregnancy, my belly gets bigger. My legs are swollen with my growing belly, and there are more and more days when I can barely walk. I’m fed up with it. It’s torn. Just at this time, I had an accident where the rice bag broke. My father at home sent it to me out of concern, as rice prices have been rising recently. The plastic bag couldn’t withstand the weight of the rice and it broke. There’s only one month left until the birth. I actually want to spend this time a little more leisurely, but with five children, it’s not easy to do that. Let’s put it in here. I have five children who are growing up and eating a lot. The price of rice has been rising, so the rice I get from my parents’ house is really good. Pancakes? Homemade slime. What should I do about rice? I don’t want to make it. No way. No way? I’m tired of spilling rice. Don’t make rice. I love cooking, but of course there are days when I think, “I don’t want to cook today.” On those days, the best thing is to make a dish that requires as little effort as possible. If possible, I would like to make a lot at once so that I can eat it the next day. I’m going to make summer vegetable curry using plenty of summer vegetables. I make it in the simplest way, just put the cut vegetables in a pot, cover it and simmer. Tomatoes, which are in season in summer, add natural acidity, richness, and sweetness when added to curry. The cut vegetables are in the pot. Next is eggplant, a representative summer vegetable. Eggplant goes great with spices. My kids don’t like eggplant very much, but it melts when simmered for a long time, so they will probably eat it . Next is zucchini. I used the top half for another dish. It has no particular taste, and when you put it in curry, it becomes soft and creamy, and a gentle sweetness spreads. It is rich in potassium, so it is a perfect summer vegetable for me who is concerned about swelling. I thought I would put salt at the bottom of the pot, but I completely forgot. The salt sprinkled first helps the water evaporate and brings out the sweetness of the vegetables. The fluffy texture of potatoes is perfect for curry. I’m going to layer the cut vegetables. It looks like I’m layering them randomly, but I put the vegetables with the most water on the bottom. By putting the vegetables with the least water on top, I’m going to bring out the umami and sweetness of the vegetables. Finally, carrots. They’re available all year round, but summer-picked carrots have a refreshing scent, they don’t fall apart even when boiled, and the sweet carrots add a beautiful color. Grated ginger and garlic. This aromatic base brings out the sweetness and sourness of the summer vegetables, giving the curry a deep richness and flavor. On top is minced pork. The flavor of the meat flows into the vegetables below. Sprinkle on a little salt to bring out the flavor of the vegetables and meat. Add a small amount of water, cover, and simmer. Cutting the vegetables is a lot of work, but after that, all you have to do is wait. Take a short break here. Plum juice made from plums soaked in brown rice vinegar and sugar. Curry roux tends to form lumps, so if you chop it up first, it will dissolve more easily. The secret ingredient in curry is ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Just boil it a little longer until it thickens and your summer vegetable curry is ready. The onions and corn are soft, so take out the corn cob. Use a hand blender to make it smooth . Hmm?
