幻の超高級キノコを大量発見!○○スープにしたらヤバ過ぎた・・・
Hey everyone, Chieeton here! I was craving some medicinal soup today,
so I came to this bamboo forest. This is a Madake bamboo grove. At this time of year,
bamboo shoots are sprouting up like this. I’m going to gather these bamboo shoots
and the queen of mushrooms, the Long Net Stinkhorn, which should start growing soon,
to make my medicinal soup. So, let’s go get some bamboo shoots
and Long Net Stinkhorns! Alright, I’ve found a bamboo shoot right away. With Moso bamboo shoots, you look for ones that are just peeking out
of the ground or are still buried, and then you dig them up to harvest them. But with Madake, you can just snap them off like this,
and that’s it. This one looks good. Got a Madake bamboo shoot! Lately, I’ve been feeling dizzy in the mornings,
sometimes so much that I can’t get out of bed, so I’ve been craving some delicious medicinal soup
that’s gentle on the body. There are so many of them! By the way, this bamboo forest
belongs to my wife’s family, and they let me pick
bamboo shoots here every year. There’s no smell yet. When you come here
during the Long Net Stinkhorn season, there’s a really awful smell. It smells just like an uncleaned men’s restroom. Since there’s no smell at all right now, the Long Net Stinkhorns
probably haven’t started growing yet. Whoa, careful! Anyway, this place has been cleared
and looks pretty tidy. Last year, the Long Net Stinkhorns
were growing around here. So they might be growing under all this cut bamboo,
which would make them hard to spot this year. It’d be nice if they grew out in the open like this… I’ll come back to check again in about a week. Look, what about this one? There’s a bamboo shoot buried here. Buried? Yeah. Oh, you’re right. Doesn’t it look tender? Here I go! Go for it. Oh, it’s bigger than I expected! Look, it’s the perfect size! Looks delicious! It’s only been three minutes,
but I’ve already picked more than I can carry! It won’t snap clean. The base is too tough. Because you tried to break it right at the root. It just snapped off higher up. Let’s get this one too. Man, it feels so good here. A mosquito bit me on my eyebrow! I wonder if not many grow around here? They don’t grow much here. Or maybe someone else comes and takes them all. We’re done for now? Alright, let’s keep looking as we head back up. There’s a small one here too. Let’s get that one too. Nice, got it! Last year, some Long Net Stinkhorns
grew around here too. But I don’t see any young ones yet,
so it might be a bit early for them. Long Net Stinkhorns
start popping up around the time the madake bamboo harvest is over. This one’s too big, right? You want everything, don’t you! I just thought it looked delicious. Well, yeah. Be careful, it’s slippery here. Okay. We’re out! We got a lot of madake bamboo shoots. Since the Long Net Stinkhorns weren’t out yet,
I’ll boil and preserve these shoots, and come back in about a week
to look for them again. One week later I think the Long Net Stinkhorns
should be popping up by now. It’s rained a lot,
and the grass and bamboo are waking up. Let’s head right in. Oh, there’s one growing here. Huh? Madake bamboo. Oh, it’s just madake bamboo. I can’t smell any Long Net Stinkhorns yet. The place they grew before was over there. Let’s go check there first. Oof. There are still small madake shoots coming up. It might still be a little early, but let’s have a look. They grew here last year too,
but I don’t see any young ones yet. Hey, there’s a huge one over here! What? What is it? Madake? This is a mushroom, right? Did you find one? But it’s still round! Oh, there’s another one over there! Huh, really? Yeah, but it hasn’t emerged yet. What do you call it?
The round thing. Like an egg? Exactly. Oh, then that must be it. Are any of them sprouting? Yeah, there are a ton! Whoa! Were they this big last year? Seriously? That big? Where? There’s one over there. And there’s one here, too. Yes, yes, yes, yes! And there’s a huge one over there It’s huge! We found a Long Net Stinkhorn egg! There’s one here, too! What? There’s another one under here. It’s a bumper crop! There are probably more over there, too. What?! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! This is an amazing haul! Okay, this is a Long Net Stinkhorn egg. In a little while, it’ll crack open,
and a Long Net Stinkhorn will pop out. It’s a little early, but it should be soon. Look, there’s another one right here. This is the spot! If you look closely, it’s twins! There are two eggs side-by-side, and a Long Net Stinkhorn
will grow out of each one. I think I’ll come back here for a few days in a row
and try to capture them sprouting on video. Just discovering that Long Net Stinkhorns
grow here is a great find for today! Found a big mushroom egg This one is pretty swollen,
and you can start to see the jiggly jelly inside. Just like that. Here. It looks like it’s going to split around here
and a Long Net Stinkhorn will pop out. Found a group of young ones! Have we checked down there yet? No, not all of it yet. Last year, around here… There’s one! I saw it just as I was saying “around here”! It’s right here! See? Here. Oh, it’s triplets! No! It’s quadruplets! One, two, three, four! What a great harvest! This is a Long Net Stinkhorn forest! They really do grow back
in the same spots as last year! It’s so plump. The temperature shot up today,
so it’s growing faster. I think it’ll pop out tomorrow. See you tomorrow, then. Let’s head back. Let’s get out of here! Alright, I’ll be back tomorrow! Two days later The current time is 5:50 AM. You have to come this early,
or you’ll miss the moment it emerges. It’s still a little dark inside the bamboo grove. The Long Net Stinkhorn at my feet
hasn’t sprouted yet. The hot spot is over this way. Oh! It’s starting to come out! The white part inside is splitting, and the Long Net Stinkhorn
is trying to emerge. Let’s start recording right away. Oh no! The camera fell over and snapped
the young Long Net Stinkhorn. I messed up! If only the camera had been secured properly,
I would’ve gotten the shot… Let’s film another young one. Found one! Okay, right here! Here’s a Long Net Stinkhorn
that just popped up, and to the upper left,
there’s another one about to emerge. Let’s shoot a time-lapse of these. After about two hours,
the Long Net Stinkhorn is fully grown. Look, some small flies are already here. The Long Net Stinkhorn’s cap is covered in a slimy,
spore-filled substance called gleba. This gleba gives off a really nasty smell,
which attracts bugs. They come and eat the gleba,
spreading the mushroom’s spores. In Japanese, it’s called “Kinugasatake”
(silk umbrella mushroom), because its pure white veil looks like
it’s wearing a silk dress. It looks like a queen
with her lace veil spread out, so in China, it’s known
as the “Queen of Mushrooms.” Alright, let’s harvest it. Whoa, the whole egg came with it. Just like this. This is totally the Neo Armstrong
Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon, isn’t it? It’s so perfectly formed! See? Even pill bugs
are coming over to eat the gleba. Like this. It stinks! It smells just like a men’s public toilet. It really stinks. The cap looks like a turtle’s head,
so in Japan, its family is called “soft-shelled turtle mushroom,”
known scientifically as Phallaceae. Ah, it snapped. Unfortunately, this one snapped. But it was so beautiful how fast they grew, wasn’t it? Got some Long Net Stinkhorns! The gleba on the cap is full of spores, so I’m going to remove it
and leave it on the ground. There we go. It comes off just like this. If I put this back on the ground,
more will grow here next year. Let’s take some home though. But the smell will get on the lacy part
if I keep them together, so I’ll remove the caps
and carry them separately. The Long Net Stinkhorns you buy in stores
are usually dried in this state. Turns out the stem and the lacy part
smell just like the gleba too. So it’s not just the gleba that stinks! There’s one! Huh? Where? Over there! It’s totally bloomed! Totally bloomed? It’s huge! I’m on my way! There are a ton of them! How many? There are three of them! What? Three? Are they open? Yeah! Huh? I missed them. Whoa, it stinks! It smells so bad! Whoa! You’re right! There’s a lot growing here! It would’ve been cool to get a time-lapse of this one. One spot, two spots, they’re growing from three different places. Oh, I got it! Nice! The whole egg came off with it! You can just drop the egg. It’s so slimy. That gelatinous egg… What is this? It’s so cool! Just take it off. Look! It’s so smooth and jiggly! It stinks! Isn’t this one super pretty? Go on, smell it. It stinks! It’s so magnificent. It’s huge. It’s surprisingly firm. It’s pretty solid. They get softer as they get older. Got the Long Net Stinkhorn! All right, let’s keep picking! The bottom part is slimy! Okay, got it! It’s pretty easy to pick. Ta-da! Where’s the egg? The egg came off cleanly. Nice! By the way, this stalk is spongy
and has holes in it. The tip has holes like this, too. Truly the queen of mushrooms! But it smells like a men’s urinal,
so it’s a bit hard to call it a queen. However, it has a unique texture
and is considered a luxurious delicacy. I’ve gathered a bunch of Long Net Stinkhorns,
so I’m taking them home to cook. Alright, let’s head home! I brought the Long Net Stinkhorns
home and washed them. This time, I’m making a medicinal soup
with stuffed Long Net Stinkhorns. I’ll also use some wild boar meat
that I caught. Looks delicious! Alright, let’s get cooking! First, let’s parboil
the Long Net Stinkhorns I picked. What did you forage today? Long Net Stinkhorns. It stinks! The water’s boiling,
so let’s put in the Long Net Stinkhorns. I’m using a clay pot this time,
so I’ll use one about this size. In they go! I brought back some caps too,
so let’s throw those in as well. The gleba has been washed off thoroughly,
so the smell isn’t that strong. But there’s still a bit of a smell, so parboiling them like this
will remove it completely. As for the rest of the mushrooms, you can sun-dry them just like this
to make dried Long Net Stinkhorns. This way, they become a preserved food
that you can rehydrate with water and eat anytime. So, while the mushrooms are boiling… I’d like to show you a little bit
of the manuscript for my first book, “Chieeton. Flora and Fauna.” It looks like this. Oh, there’s a page about the Long Net Stinkhorn! As you can see, it includes details
on the mushroom’s characteristics and the recipe for the golden soup I made. It’s almost finished. I’ll put a link to “Chieeton. Flora and Fauna.”
in the description. It comes out July 15th,
but pre-orders have already started. Please pre-order it from the link
in the description! While I was talking,
the mushrooms have cooked quite a bit. The steam coming up smells a bit like a urinal. By parboiling them thoroughly,
that smell will go away, so I recommend parboiling
fresh Long Net Stinkhorns before eating them. Alrighty. Once they’re cooked,
their texture becomes firmer and sturdier. Alright, let’s get the stuffing ready. First, I’ll put one clove of garlic into the chopper. And then some ginger. Ginger goes in too! Onion. I’m just going to roughly chop it
since the chopper will do the rest. Set it up… Ready, set, go! Oh! I forgot to add the bamboo shoots! And now for the main event, the wild boar meat. This meat is seriously delicious! Time for the seasoning. A little bit of pepper, some consommé soup base, and a pinch of salt. Okay, let’s mix it all up. Here we go The mixture feels a bit stiff,
which will make it hard to stuff, so I’ll add an egg to loosen it up a bit. When I cook,
I always make the recipe up as I go. Here we go! This looks so good! Alright, let’s start stuffing the Long Net Stinkhorns. I made plenty of filling, so I’ll use the rest to make stuffed mushrooms
for my family later. This is going to be amazing! It smells incredible! Okay, I’ll squeeze the bag
to push the filling to one corner. Hey, boss! I’ll help! Hold the mushroom stem, please. Whoa! Did it get this small? It shrank a little, yeah. Yeah. Okay, now I’ll stuff the filling into the mushroom. Go in, please! Is it going in? It’s working! It’s going in! Awesome! If you film from above… Oh, I just need to switch my hands! Look, it’s already stuffed all the way to the tip. Oh, you’re right. It won’t go in any further. It’s stuffed all the way to the end! I wish you could have felt the sensation
of the filling going inside. It was a really interesting feeling. The stem of the Queen of Mushrooms
is now packed with meat! Alright, let’s get started on the medicinal soup! Here are the ingredients for the medicinal soup. Garlic, ginger, star anise, goji berries, bamboo shoots, chicken stock powder, and salt. I’m using these root vegetables and spices
to feel energized from within. Also, five-spice powder. Five-spice powder
already has some star anise in it, but I love the smell of star anise,
so I’m adding extra. Okay, first, I’ll put the star anise
in the clay pot to really bring out its aroma. Then, I’ll chop up the other ingredients
and add them to the pot. It’s gotten hot all of a sudden, so I’m using some stamina-boosting ingredients
to really energize myself from the inside out. Let’s be generous with the ginger too. I’m putting in a lot! I’m not going to chop
the tender outer layers of the bamboo shoot. I’ll just put them in as is. In they go! I’ll cut the base of the bamboo shoot
into bite-sized pieces. It already smells so good! Chicken stock powder, a little bit of salt, pepper, and the five-spice powder. Looks delicious! The soup itself looks delicious. It smells amazing! I could just drink this as is! This heat can make you lose your appetite,
but this really whets it! The soup is coming to a boil,
so let’s add the meat-stuffed Long Net Stinkhorns. Now we’ll just let it simmer. 15 minutes later It smells so good! The stuffed Long Net Stinkhorn
medicinal soup is ready! With gratitude for the gifts of the earth! Let’s eat! It smells so amazing! The aroma of the star anise
and five-spice powder really stands out. Let’s dig in! Mmm, this is delicious! This is so good! This is the flavor I was looking for! You can’t go wrong with Long Net Stinkhorns
soaked in this soup. It’s so comforting! It warms me from within. In this sweltering heat, this medicinal soup
really permeates your whole body. Seriously delicious! Next up, the madake bamboo shoots
I gathered earlier. Let’s eat! The umami of the chicken stock
and the aroma of the spices hit your nose, followed by the gentle flavor of the bamboo shoots
spreading through your mouth. And I put in a lot of ginger, so it really has a kick. It’s super tasty and it really warms me up. It’s sweltering hot, but this feeling
of warming up from eating this soup… I don’t mind it at all. This is awesome! Long Net Stinkhorns shrink a little
when you boil them. And the texture is nice and firm. Alright, let’s dig in. So incredibly good! Wow, this is irresistible! The moment you bite into it,
the soup just floods your mouth. Then the juices from the boar meat burst out. It’s so juicy and delicious. Hey, Boss! Eating something good? It’s so good! Let’s eat! Smells good. So delicious The meat is bursting with juice! So tasty! You could serve this in a restaurant! The texture of this Long Net Stinkhorn
is amazing. Try the lacy part, too. Let’s eat! The unique texture is what’s so great
about the Long Net Stinkhorn. This is so addictive! Your cooking has gotten so much better! This is delicious. It does taste healthy. This texture is one-of-a-kind. I really want everyone to try it. It’s a crunchy, crisp texture
unlike anything I’ve ever eaten. And now for the cap. Does it smell? Let me give it a sniff. It doesn’t smell at all. We washed the gleba off thoroughly
and parboiled it, so there’s no bad smell at all. Let’s dig in! What a satisfying crunch! Every part of the Long Net Stinkhorn
has a great texture. Have some. Oh, you’re right! It doesn’t smell. Let’s eat! What an interesting texture. But this is really good. It’s addictive. Wait, can I eat it all? Go ahead. Delicious. I’d love to eat all of this, but my daughter is a huge fan
of Long Net Stinkhorns. Plus, this medicinal soup is so delicious,
I want everyone to try it. Well, thanks for the meal! That was a great meal! If you enjoyed this video, please smash that like button
