1978年に創業した桂林。地元・錦糸町で長年愛されてきたお店ながらも、先代店主が高齢や体調不良などを理由に3年ほど前に引退を決意。継承者を募集するなかで、現店主である2代目店主が応募。そして、先代から事業継承をする形で現在に至る。店名、メニュー、味や取引先もそのままに、歴史を守り続けているお店。現在では先代店主は体調も快調に向かい、ランチのピーク時にはよく手伝いに来るとか。また、現店主の実家は同じ墨田区内で中華料理屋をやっていることもあり、持ち前の明るい接客で、お客さんを惹きつける。その人気店に今回、天津丼を食べに行ってみた♪
