My little sister came to visit my house! (Me interfering with the shot😛) We made plum syrup together! First, remove the stems. The only ingredients are plums, rock sugar, and jars to fill them with . I bought the storage jars at MUJI. 500ml and 750ml soda glass jars (a recipe book was included, and it also said how to sterilize them by boiling!) While boiling and sterilizing the jars, I carefully washed each plum. A nice aroma spreads ♡ Wipe off the moisture thoroughly . I left it to my husband and sister and boiled the jars (it was fun talking all the time 😄) . By the way, I used 1kg of plums this time . I sterilized the cooled jars and they were ready. “Let’s put them in.” It was kind of surreal and made me laugh 🤣 I put in the plums, then the rock sugar, and repeated it. A theory emerged that two jars would not fit everything. The top layer should be sugar, but I realized that it would not fit. I decided to buy another jar 🤣 About half of the jars were left. I said goodbye to my sister and went to buy jars. I got home and took a short break 🍵 It was a bit chilly, so I felt like drinking some warm green tea . I had some momiji manju 🍁 Actually, my sister came to deliver this! After taking a breather, I resumed my plum work. I bought an additional 2L glass bottle and filled it with plums, rock sugar, plums, rock sugar, etc., just like the small bottles. There were some mishaps, but I finished it safely! I decided to store it under the shelf where the microwave and rice cooker are kept. I tilted the bottle around every day to spread the melted syrup all over the bottle. The syrup is melting and it feels good ♡ It’s a little early, but I’m going to make plum soda to accompany me at work. The sweet aroma is irresistible 🤤 I put about 5 spoons in a glass.
