Oriental Chicken Stir Fry / Coconut Curry | Headbanger’s Kitchen

horns up and welcome to a brand new episode of Headbangers kitchen today the recipe I’m going to show you is quick simple easy delicious and actually not very fattening as well so we’re going to be making an oriental style chicken stir fry and today I’m wearing my dvo t-shirt and you can click on it and watch my interview with them they are a kickass trash metal band now I also needed your opinion on something I was thinking you know maybe at the end of each of these episodes I should get a member of an Indian band to come and taste the food rather than me just tasting it myself and I could also do a small five Question Interview because we’re no longer doing the show in the old format where I used to cook a dish and then have a band over so let me know what you think do you think I should bring back bands onto the show and give them a quick interview you let me know in the comments below anyway let’s go make that Oriental style chicken stir fry so we’re going to start by cutting up our chicken into little bite-sized pieces and I’m using mostly thigh and leg meat because that takes a little longer to cook and remains nice and juicy if you’re going to use a chicken breast remember that it Cooks much quicker and has a tendency to dry out and I did use one chicken breast but I made sure I cut it up slightly thicker so it doesn’t cook too fast and doesn’t dry out so the first thing we’re going to do is marinate this chicken with a little bit of this delicious Korean barbecue sauce that I’ve got you can also use any other kind of sauce that you like a tablespoon of soya sauce some salt and some pepper that’s it nothing else and give it a good [Music] mix and leave it to marinate for about 20 minutes so while our chicken marinates we’re now going to cut up some red Peppers some green peppers and some yellow peppers next we’re going to chop up a spring onion and separate the White and The Greens next we’re going to chop up some [Music] mushrooms now before we start cooking up our chicken we’re going to add a tablespoon of just regular allpurpose flour to our chicken and this gives it a nice crispy coating when it’s fries now it’s time to get cooking on that chicken and we’re going to heat up our walk and put in a spoon of oil you can use regular vegetable oil or if you have sesame oil that works even better the first thing we’re going to do when our oil is nice and hot is add the spring onion whites and our garlic to it and fry it till it’s nice and brown and give that a good stir now you can see that they’ve turned nice and brown and now we’re going to add our [Music] chicken and now youve just got to woke the [Music] chicken and you want to keep this going on a nice high heat you can use some walk tricks next we’re going to add in our peppers and also our mushrooms now we don’t want the vegetables to get soggy so we’re just going to cook it for about 2 minutes add in our spring onion greens and the chicken is ready now we’re not done guys this is not the end you’ve got a dry chicken now but we we want to also make a beautiful curry with this so that we can eat it with rice so you’ve got your chicken as a starter nice and dry and crispy but now let’s turn this into a delicious Curry so we’re going to quickly chop some zucchini and add it to this add in a little bit of water give that a good mix and you can see you’ve already got a delicious gravy now while this is bubbling away we’re going to add some Delicious coconut milk to this and we’ve got ourselves a beautiful coconut gravy give that a good stir and you can see you’ve already got a nice thick gravy and that is as good as done we’re just going to garnish with a little bit of spring onion greens and turn the gas off so here it is my friends our delicious stir Fred chicken which has also been converted into a lovely coconut curry which you can eat with some lovely rice let’s taste this now the dry one first M oh wow if you have ever been to an Indian Chinese restaurant and you had chili chicken this is in that same ball PK it’s lovely and and it’s not even deep fried but it’s got that delicious flavor you know the peppers especially let’s try the curry now let’s try some curry with a little rice oh that is good that is delicious coconuty and amazing anyway if you like this video give it the Thumbs Up And subscribe to our YouTube channel leave me a comment below tell me what you’d like me to make you next time on the next episode and don’t forget to tell me if I should be bringing on some bands onto the show to taste these delicious dishes till next time CH and keep cooking I’m going to get back to eating now oh wow well look at that see [Music] but like soft and juicy and not it [Music] [Music] up [Music] [Applause] [Music] Blackness SP my eyes my real waming

    1. kickass episode…ofcourse you should get those bands back…and improvise one of those BBQ pit boys recipes man!

    2. In my opinion, the band interview segment is what made this program really unique. I'd definitely like to see it come back in some capacity.

    3. in my opinion, its better u continue with this format. i enjoy watching u cook. u can asked somebody near u to taste ur cook. its more convenience and easy for u

    4. Love your cooking show, please make more videos on keto foods, things like keto bread, nan bread, keto lasagnia, maybe deserts etc. with much thanks.

    5. fuck. shit tast. dont use korean sauce. deirty you. also some study English more. your stupid and poor English. use own language.

    6. Oh my goodness I feel faint…so freaking delicious looking. I have been watching you all night. Working double tonight. Bring on the bands but I volunteer to taste as well ok? lol

    7. Looks like an amazing dish! I noticed it does not include green curry paste. My wife is not a fan of Coconut flavor, would the paste tone the coconut flavor down or can I substitute half coconut milk and half heavy cream?
