Lunch box in the toaster I’m going to make a cute shrimp ball lunch box for 3 days. I’m going to defrost the edamame in water and cut the bell pepper into rings. I’m going to cut off the tough part of the asparagus and peel off the tough skin about 5cm from the base. I want to make asparagus curry meatballs, so I cut them to a length that is easy to put in the lunch box. I’m going to heat it up at 600W for 30 seconds. I’m going to fold the center of the foil for the frying pan to make a partition. I’m going to mix the edamame with corn, crab meat , mayonnaise, and a little salt and pepper. I’m going to use some leftover grilled meat in the fridge. Place the shells of the sushi in a foil cup and stuff the edamame corn inside. Sprinkle salt, pepper and olive oil on the peppers and add a little bit of consommé. Mix a little salt, pepper , curry powder and 1 teaspoon each of mayonnaise into the minced meat . Sprinkle rice flour on the asparagus and wrap it around the minced meat that has been flattened in the palm of your hand. Roll it to make sure it is firmly attached. Sprinkle rice flour on top of the minced meat as well. Mash the hanpen. You can mash it in a bowl or in a plastic bag. Add 1 teaspoon of sake, a little pepper and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Add 1 tablespoon of potato starch. Chop the shrimp into small pieces and add them to the hanpen, then mix well. Cut a little off the edge of the bag and squeeze out several equal amounts, then roll them into balls with your hands. Arrange them in a flower shape and stick them together. Put the cut sausages in the middle. Bake in the toaster. First bake at 200°C for 15 minutes. Remove the peppers and edamame corn and bake for another 5 minutes just to be sure. These cute shrimp balls were a big hit with my husband, who said they were like a snack and delicious . Once they have cooled down, we’ll stuff them into the filling. It’s good to bake the hanpen shrimp balls in the toaster. The edamame corn cups turned out well too. Making bento in the toaster is easy and fun. I put a lot of stuff in it. I put ketchup on the sausages for some reason, but I think it looks cuter without it. It’s shiny red. I sprinkle some furikake on it and it ‘s done. It’s definitely a staple side dish in my house. It doesn’t get the stove dirty so it’s easy. I’m going to make a rolled up cabbage and meat roll lunch. Asparagus is in season again today, so I want to eat a lot of it. Cut it into pieces about 3cm long. Divide the broccoli into small florets, wash it and soak it in water. Heat the washed cabbage, broccoli and asparagus at 600W for 3 minutes. Season the broccoli and asparagus with salt, pepper and olive oil. Mix together. Cut the eggs and crab sticks that you boiled the night before in half . Cut the ham into 1/4 size pieces and into small flower shapes. Eat the rest for breakfast. Cut the sliced cheese into 1/4 size pieces and the rest into small pieces to mix with the eggs. Cut the boiled eggs as well. Mix the cheese, egg, salt, pepper, and mayonnaise. Place the ham and cheese on the shumai skin. On the ham side, place broccoli on the egg and cheese, sprinkle with parsley, and wrap it up. Secure the edges with water. It looks like a crispy mini bouquet. On this day, fold the center of the non-stick foil to separate it. Drizzle a little oil on the skin. You can apply it with your hands, or either way is fine. Thread the asparagus and crab sticks alternately onto toothpicks and pour mayonnaise over them. Cabbage Wipe off the water and use the soft leaves of the cabbage, not the outer hard leaves. This time I used pork loin, but pork belly is fine too. Lightly salt and spread with yuzu pepper. Depending on your mood that day, you can add miso and cheese, pickled plum and bonito, cod roe mayonnaise, lemon salt or any other seasoning you like. I folded it in half to make it fluffy. I also added pickled yam that I pickled the night before. I topped it off with tomatoes, pickled plums, and a decorative ham flower. Crispy mini bouquets can be arranged with all kinds of ingredients. I’m making a heart-shaped hanpen bento. The shrimp hanpen balls from the other day were well-received and I was asked to make them again, so next time I’ll make it even simpler, using crab sticks . I used broccoli and asparagus again on this day. I always use the same ingredients. Don’t splurge, use what’s cheap at the time. Cut the asparagus into pieces about 3cm long. Cut the carrots into slices after washing them thoroughly. Heat the broccoli at 600W for 30 seconds. On this day, I will again use foil to separate the pieces. I cut 4 cuts into the ham and put it in a foil cup, but it spreads out, so I think it’s better to put it in a silicone cup to make it smaller. A small heat-resistant container like a cocotte would also work. After stuffing the broccoli into the ham cup, I will top it with mayonnaise , corn, and cheese . Sprinkle some parsley on top as well. Sprinkle some salt, pepper, and butter on the carrots. I keep butter, miso, condensed milk, and shio koji in the freezer. On this day, I mashed the hanpen fishcake and cut the imitation crab meat into small pieces and added it. I added 5 imitation crab meat pieces, but the proportion of hanpen was high and the white It turned out to be similar to the original so I was happy with just half the amount of fish cake. The fish cake itself has a strong flavor so I didn’t add any salt or chicken stock, just mixed in a tablespoon each of mayonnaise and potato starch. If you want to add a little variety, you could mix in some powdered cheese, cod roe, tuna, etc. It would also be nice to put a lot of things on top and bake it. I’ll try that next time I’ll cut the ends and squeeze them into a heart shape this time. I couldn’t squeeze it as neatly as I thought it would be, so maybe I should have just stuffed it into a heart shape. Squeezing is kind of fun, isn’t it? I smoothed the surface out with my hands. It’s also delicious if you mix edamame beans inside, but this time I put them on top. I put shrimp on the asparagus and the chicken stock has a strong flavor so I drizzled a little sesame oil on it and baked it in the toaster. It’s also helpful that you can do other things while it’s cooking. It’s done! It’s done ! It turned out so cute ! I marinated the seasoned eggs the night before for breakfast. Mom is finally going on a diet, so she boils eggs every day. The ham cups came out beautifully too. Making bento lunches is something you do every morning, so it can get tiring.
