I turned to YouTube because I couldn't figure out how to put the handle on. Turned out the hole for the screw wasn't punched correctly so I had to do it myself. The video is unrelated to all of this, but kinda helped me figure the problem. All in all, the video is fine but the product is the most poorly made thing I've ever owned.
You are making a Frittata, not an Omelet. Even if you made two Frittata's – one on each side, and then put them together, it wouldn't be an Omelet, it would be a hella thick Frittata sandwich. And you aren't alone in confusing Frittata's and Omelets, just go on Amazon and search for "Omelet makers" and you will pull up ALL Frittata makers. I blame China!

4:36 There’s something weird about this part. The egg got stuck to the top part. Also, was there a big mess when you flipped it over?
I've seen better videos where the egg mixture is put on both sides, filled with veggies, then flipped.
Finally someone uses it correct. You do not fill both sides like other videos show
