スペイン風ガンバス・アル・アヒージョ(ガーリックソースのエビ)🍤 @larabuchar
My fondest memories of visiting Spain all involve tapas: the little snacky appetizers that are combined to make a full, luscious meal that’s best enjoyed alongside a generous glass of wine. One of my favourite tapas dishes that I tried was Gambas al Ajillo, a.k.a. shrimp in garlic sauce.
Shrimp is cooked to juicy perfection in a simple sauce of olive oil, garlic and red pepper flakes. It’s then finished off with a splash of wine, lemon juice and parsley. This is one of those simple dishes that feels so sophisticated: I love serving it alongside some crusty bread, nice Spanish cheese and plump olives for a tapas-inspired feast. To turn it into a dinner, toss it with pasta or serve over rice!

its spanish style because the main ingredient is always olive oil
The only thing I'd say is that here in spain, no Spaniard would be able to handle a pinch of red pepper flakes. Haha. Looks great though 👌🏽
