    6. A major part of my diet (hold over from my French Canadian granddad) are sardines fresh and canned. I’m always looking for something to pair with the canned one, the grilled ones, need nothing but a side of patatas bravas and a serving a Gazpacho.

    7. Well now. I love sardines in evoo or any flavour. They are my breakfast on toast drizzled with evoo. I rarely eat them any other way or occassion. But this simple recipe has me thinking lunchtime sardines now. Thanks for posting your delicious recipe. The Portuguese know their sardines.. EVOO = extra virgin olive oil. 😁

Have tried for the last few years to eat sardines cause everyone reckons they are so good….I don't even get the lid all the way off before taking the can out to the garbage cause it smells off. Then a few who the go by before I try again, and same thing. I don't know how anyone gets past the smell. Tinned Cat food smells better and fresher.
