Is there anything I can substitute for bananas? :/
hello chef, i really hate bananas, what fruit can i use as a substitite?
I think that for the same kind fo texture, and still having a sweet taste.. one could use mango, or cantaloupe melon.. but you can also just use more of the other ingrediënts 🙂 avocado is also a popular substitue for bananas… and people on the internet that make banana free smotthies think that low fat greek yoghurt is good as well, if you do want the thicker texture 🙂
best way to find out is to try right? 😉
I have that too, with most of chef's recipes <3 it just all looks so tasty doesn't it?
… oh, cow's milk is poisonous ey…? hmm…. could you please send me some links to the researches that prove that? 🙂 I always like to learn more, so if it is true I would like to read about it 🙂 Though at this moment, I do slightly doubt that cow's milk is very poisonous, since people drank cow's milk aaages ago, and they did not die because of it… 🙂 as I said, I would love to learn more <3
…. could you give me a couple of links to those "studies"then please? 🙂 my cousin drinks soy milk all the time, for about, all her life ever since the family realised she was intolerant to something in normal milk, which is not in soy milk.
soy isoflavones, when studied in populations eating soy protein, have indicated that there is a lower incidence of breast cancer and other common cancers because of its role in influencing sex hormone metabolism and biological activity through intracellular enzymes, protein synthesis, growth factor actions, malignant cell proliferations, differentation and angiogenesis.[2] However, the risk reduction in breast cancer from soy isoflavones was only shown in Asian populations. equals healthy.
.. you explained honey beign sweet and all.. but why suddenly bring in the soy… ? and coconut milk is also sweet, so why add that hmmm? why not just add whater? hmm? Goodness, you are contradicting yourself mightily, since honey consists of a TYPE of sugar, and sugar is NOT bad for you, unless you use it in excess. Too little sugar will cause problems in your body, so don't bash sugar please. By the way, in europe, pure coconut milk is extremely rare, and there is always additives.
LOL I read Nasty at first, and then I read the rest thinking "what …??" and then I read it again, and I noticed how tired my eyes were, since I read tasty this time :PP
This is a copy paste from wikipedia. Copy pasting is fine, but wikipedia is not always 100% reliable. The information talks about the "role" of soy isoflavones, or "phytoestrogens", and then it talks about some biological phenomena, but it doesn't actually explain soy isoflavones' "roles" in conjunction with these phenomena. Therefore this does not equal healthy at all, it doesn't even equal unhealthy. It's very vague. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'd love to. Google 'Mercola soy' and you'll find interesting articles. I'll send you a pm with a link, and about cow's milk too.
Basically, unfermented soy contains goitrogens, which inhibit thyroid function, which controls your metabolism amongst other things. Soy contains isoflavones (phytoestrogens) which mimics human estrogen, which can cause infertility and breast cancer, plus alteration of the menstrual cycle in woman, amongst other sexual alterations.
Best hat ever for Francis!!!
congratulations for videos. I'm learning a lot with you. thank you.
Use berries or something man it's not rocket science it's a smoothie. Put shit in a blender and hit the button.
anazing:(
Not at all! A medium banana has 0g of fat, 105 calories and 27 carbs. The slightly higher carbs is because of the natural fruit sugar fructose, but it is still totally good for you.
This was delicious! It is perfect for summer 🙂
Would it taste good with brown sesame?
I love this recipe. I've had it two mornings in a row this week! It tastes much better without the ice cubes though. Instead of ice, I just use frozen bananas that have been slightly thawed so they're not rock hard.
I recommend not to use Ice, instead place the banana in the freezer over night….its not watery then
Wow this is great
I want to try it,look so great!
