  1. Hey Dan you can't beat eating food out on the street… especially Asian food. Not a big duck fan but have eaten Peking duck many times but those pancakes look amazing. Always enjoy your videos Dan. Take care mate.

  2. Oh, this is my recommendation😀 What a sunny day with a great meal. What you ordered was pig liver, not chicken liver.

  3. The soup you ordered seems to be pig liver soup. The thing is the name of the restaurant says sesame-oil chicken soup, which I assume is their main dish.

I’m not familiar with this kind of dish, but that’d explain why the owner nodded to your question if it’s chicken when you pointed to the big wok in the front.

  4. the name of the ckicken store is called "Yi Chia Ban sesame oil chicken". They cook all their f ood with sesame oil, mainly chicken. The soup you've ordered must be pig liver sesame oil soup, which is also my favorite. Nothing beats those sesame oil favor along side the ginger spice. The thin noodle soup w/ sesame oil is also very good.

  5. That is "one duck two dishes" in Taiwanese way, they normally (in 99%) don't have seats, becausewe take it out for sharing it at home with families along with beer and other foods in front of tv for a movie or a game at the weekend nights.
For the peking duck with crispy skin, you should search a peking duck restaurant, for example 宋廚, the price is a bit higher.

  6. If you want some real good and crispy roasted duck, there are a lot of restaurants that have them in Taipei. But you would need reservations and they are like close to $100 for a whole duck. Some are Michelin stared. There are Hong Kong style and Beijing style.
